What to watch on Thursday, July 10...
7pm, Cartoon Network
A party-related mishap forces Shelby to assume a new role in “Little Brother.” Then in “Mystery Dungeon,” Ice King, Neptr, Tree Trunks, Shelby, and Lemongrab must band together to get out of a jam.
Hollywood Game Night
With Margaret Cho, Matthew Morrison, Martha Stewart, and Mena Suvari in the mix, only Scott Wolf and Curtis Stone are disrupting the opportunity for a Martha Marcy May Marlene joke here.
In “Beasts of Burden,” Nolan must apprehend the miscreants who attacked Pottinger’s caravan. He’s narrowed down the list of suspects who might wish harm on the mayor to “literally everybody.” In other vengeance-seeking affairs, Datak plots to wrest back control of the family business.
SERIES PREMIERE, 9pm, NBC
Welcome to Sweden
Celebrity accountant Bruce encounters a series of wacky culture clashes after following his girlfriend Emma back to her native Sweden in this lutfisk-out-of-water comedy. “Day One/Välkommen” finds the happy couple settling into their new Scandinavian life, where Bruce meets Emma’s family.
In a surprising change of pace for the show, “Fire in the Hole” tests myths related to explosions. Can a file cabinet contain a TNT blast? What happens to a live grenade that's shot in mid-air? Does a dynamited coyote actually become a blackened husk topped by two blinking eyes? Tune in and find out!
The squad cracks down on an illegal handgun supplier in “Going Under,” in case you needed a reminder that this is a Canadian show. Andy, who’s been benched thanks to Duncan’s allegations, can’t take part in the fun, so she lends Sam a hand with his missing persons case instead.
“Donald the Normal” follows Daniel to Atlanta, where he relishes the chance to blend into the crowd. Which, of course, makes his huge “I Heart Hotlanta” sandwich board and Braves-branded big foam finger somewhat counterproductive.
A Vega senator creates a hostage situation in “The Flood,” demanding the identify of the Chosen One. Meanwhile, Michael joins an archangel meeting, though this one’s not about the war but about their cell phone provider family plan.
The Task Force faces new hurdles after a change to California’s “Three Strikes” law in “El Zorro y el Galinero.” Meanwhile, Jessica spots Silvia paying a call to Ryan, and Carlos’s plan to overthrow Javier crosses the rubicon.
SERIES PREMIERE, 9:30pm, NBC
Working the Engels
A young corporate lawyer comes home to take the reins of her late father’s small-time practice, with the help/hindrance of her kooky family, in this Canadian-American comedy.
In “Radio Cowboy,” an appearance on a morning radio show pits podcaster Marc against defenders of the older medium. Perhaps they’ll at least find common ground in agreeing that Pump Up the Volume was totally boss.
SEASON 3 FINALE, 10:30pm, IFC
Comedy Bang! Bang!
Scott time-travels to the 1960s in an effort to change history for Reggie’s family. There’s a chance this whole storyline only exists so guest-star Josh Groban can don a crazy white wig and cry out “Great Scott!” a bunch of times.
