What to Watch Tonight: Adventure Time, Hell's Kitchen, and Nick Offerman on Comedy Bang! Bang!

What to Watch on Thursday, June 12...

7pm, Cartoon Network
Adventure Time
In “Food Chain,” a field trip to the Candy Kingdom Museum of Natural History takes an odd turn when Finn and Jake wind up as part of an exhibit. Then in “Up a Tree,” the boys give chase when their throwing disc gets stuck in an enormous tree.

8pm, ABC
Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night
Ice Cube joins Jimmy ahead of Game 4 of the NBA Finals, perhaps inspiring one of the players to subsequently [expletive deleted] around and get a triple double.

8pm, NBC
Hollywood Game Night
Multiple doses of tranquilizers are required to stave off contestant Jeff Probst’s attempts to forcibly host the show. Fellow contestants Tim Gunn, Tiffani Thiessen, Leslie Bibb, Poppy Montgomery, and David Alan Grier mostly wonder whether the dude owns any outfits that don’t rely on khaki.

8pm, Fox
Hell’s Kitchen
A blind taste test awaits the eight remaining chefs, and an ice-skating lesson from Olympian Rachael Flatt awaits the winners.

9pm, Fox
Gang Related
When the Task Force uncovers a sex-trafficking ring in “Perros,” Ryan is determined to take down the Russian mob leader responsible. But doing so could throw a wrench into Javier’s plans to take the Acosta family business legitimate. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Goofus and Gallant faced this very conundrum once.

9pm & 9:30pm, NBC
Undateable
Justin is taken aback by Nicki’s response after he opens up to her in “My Hero is Me.” Then in “Leader of the Pack,” Danny persuades Brett to finally ask a guy out, while Leslie and Sabrina offer Justin romantic advice.

10pm, NBC
Last Comic Standing
Wanda Sykes and Amy Schumer mentor the semifinalist comics, who will go on to face their largest audiences yet.

10pm, IFC
Maron
“Nostalgic Sex Buddy” finds Mark rekindling a no-strings-attached relationship with a former paramour, as well as venting to podcast guest Caroline Rhea about his recently ended relationship.

10:30pm, IFC
Comedy Bang! Bang!
Scott comes under the puissant thrall of guest-star Nick Offerman’s mustache, as so many of us have at one point or another. No word on whether fellow guest-star Kate McKinnon will ensorcel anyone with hypnotic bangs.

I love Nick Offerman, but CBB doesn't really have their guests do anything. Too often they're just sort of there amidst whatever dumb sketch is being done across the episode. I will be watching the cliched buddy sitcom Undateable though. It only catch my interest because of Briga Helen.

I've given up complaining about it. I did it for a couple of days in a row. I thought I "won" at some point because one of the entries this week didn't have it. But it's back now.

It's quite annoying.

Where is Earth Final Conflict re-running? I used to love that show.

Or... do you mean a DVD marathon from Netflix (or whatever).

No i have it on DVD, but haven't seen it or Xena in about a decade. No marathon though, only watching the pilot today. I switch around between 10 series at a time, for daytime viewing. That way, i don't get bored. Some reruns, some i haven't seen before. I have an obsessive collection, of over 35 complete television series, and a few partial series. I subscribe to Amazon Prime (and have other options), for those series i don't have or can't get.
