What to watch on Tuesday, May 13...

SEASON 11 FINALE, 8pm, CBS
NCIS
The team investigates a fire aboard a Navy ship that had secretly imprisoned indicted terrorists in “Honor Thy Father.” Elsewhere, Gibbs returns to his childhood home to pay tribute to his departed dad, and the episode follows suit with an homage to Jackson Gibbs’ portrayer, Ralph Waite.

SEASON 1 FINALE, 8pm, ABC
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
As Garrett, Quinn, and Hydra move their pieces into place, Team Coulson makes a last-ditch effort to foil their nefarious plots in “Beginning of the End.”

SEASON 1 FINALE, 8pm, The CW
The Originals
Hayley’s baby is on the way in “From a Cradle to a Grave,” and the witches aren’t exactly making for the most compassionate midwives. As Klaus and Elijah pull out all the stops to defend the newest member of the family, Davina and Cami align against the younger Mikaelson.

SEASON 5 FINALE, 8pm, Fox
Glee
“The Untitled Rachel Berry Project” pairs Rachel with a kooky TV writer (Kristen Schaal), while Blaine readies for his showcase with June Dolloway (Shirley MacLaine), and Sam and Mercedes adjust to their rising success.

SERIES PREMIERE, 9pm, Fox
Riot
Steve Carell (who executive produces) and Andy Buckley are the first guests in this showcase of competitive comedy, singing, and dancing. And just to ramp up the degree of difficulty, their stage is tilted at a 22-degree angle. Why 22 degrees exactly? Because that’s the precise angle at which televised capering is funniest, as Euclid proved in 301 B.C.

SEASON 5 FINALE, 9pm, CBS
NCIS: Los Angeles
In “Deep Trouble,” a cartel plans to ship billions of dollars worth of cocaine from Colombia to the U.S. via submarine, which I am 90 percent certain happened in at least three Punisher comics in the 1980s. As Callen and Sam lead the effort to thwart the illicit transport, Hetty is summoned to D.C. to discuss the mission in Afghanistan.

9pm, The CW
Supernatural
In the wake of an assault on the angels in “Stairway to Heaven,” Castiel discovers that Reaper Tessa has reemerged to usurp his position. Dean is itching to strike back, First Blade-style, but Sam fears that the weapon may be exacting a toll on his brother.

SEASON 1 FINALE, 9pm, Syfy
Jim Henson’s Creature Shop Challenge
Previously eliminated contestants rejoin the three finalists for a challenge to design, build, and perform a full-body beastie in “Tavern at the Crossroads.”

SEASON 1 FINALE, 9pm, ABC
The Goldbergs
Murray is invited to address his old high school after his free-throw record is broken in “Livin’ on a Prayer.” Back home, Barry hosts a party but immediately gets lost in the crowd.

SERIES FINALE, 9:30pm, ABC
Trophy Wife
In “Mother’s Day,” Diane and Jackie offer to let the kids spend the eponymous holiday with Kate. But Kate’s elation turns to irritation when she discovers their true, less-than-magnanimous motives.

SEASON 3 FINALE, 10pm, CBS
Person of Interest
What’s this? Finch vexed by the vicious vice grip of Vigilance? Samaritan set to spring into synthetic sentience and take our heroes offline—permanently? Can the Machine’s Team tackle the twin terrors in time? Tune in to “Deus Ex Machina” and find out—same POI-time, same POI-channel!

SEASON 2 FINALE, 10pm, NBC
Chicago Fire
Severide is knocked for a loop by a blaze at a boarding school in “Real Never Waits.” Elsewhere, Dawson gears up for her exam with the firehouse boosting her morale, Mills digs into his father’s history, and Boden’s plans go pear-shaped.

10pm, USA
Playing House
“Totes Kewl” brings a busy day for Emma, who goes out with Maggie’s divorce lawyer and later unearths a surprising revelation about her mother. Incidentally, if you were curious, Google Docs does not slap “kewl” with a red squiggly underline, because Google Docs is apparently, as the youths say, “with it.”

10pm, MTV
Awkward.
Jenna and Tamara spend the night on a college visit in “Overnight.” Back home, Matty throws a party that fuels new bouts of romantic drama.

10pm, FX
Fargo
A close call for Lester spurs Molly to make an unconventional decision in “The Six Ungraspables.” Elsewhere, one of Malvo’s schemes comes to fruition and Gus contemplates some neighborly wisdom.

10:30pm, Comedy Central
Inside Amy Schumer
In “Slow Your Roll,” Amy encounters serial killers, a boorish interior designer, and a skeleton. Just another day at the DMV, am I right, folks?! Thank you, I’ll be here all week. Please, tip your waitress.
