TV.com's Swell-o-vision vs. Hell-o-vision (May 6)

Here's what we thought was out of sight and just not right on television this week.

Swell:

... This Who Wants to Be A Millionaire contestant's way with words
Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee. *deep breath* Hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee hee.

... Alicia's storm-out on The Good Wife
Finally, a definitive move by the lead! Plus, bonus points for guest-stars John Glover, Martha Plimpton, and Aaron Staton.

... The trailer for AMC's new series Hell on Wheels
There aren't any zombies or drug dealers, but there's something just as interesting: badass cowboys looking to dish out revenge.

... Kenneth's impersonation of Jack's wife Avery on 30 Rock
Pitch perfect, kid.

Hell:

... Food Network's new roster for The Great Food Truck Race
Not a single contestant from the food-truck capital of the world, Portland, Ore.! Boo!

... Glenn Beck's sketch of an Osama bin Laden death photo
Or is it a treasure map?

... James Durbin singing a 30 Seconds to Mars cover on Idol
In case you've forgotten, 30 Seconds to Mars is Jared Leto's band. So watching this performance was basically like eating a poser sandwich...or something.

... Wait, who killed who again?
This isn't a to-MAY-to/to-MAH-to situation, this is professional journalism.

Maybe she's also the proofreader at this Fox station.

30rock? Thank God that it finally is yanked off the air. A crummy show that no one, except the tv.com staff watched. FYI - They didn't even have the ballz to put a name on this article,,,,sad.....

The Obama/Osama mistake is an easy one to make. Practically everyone makes it, although it usually doesn't stand out so much when they do.

I liked community's paintball episode, wasnt as good as the first paintball episode last year, but still, there was Sawyer!(memories of LOST!) and it was quite interesting.

Love: The Law & Order: Criminal Intent season premiere. Apparently the show's gone back to basics for its final (short) season.
Hate: Doctor Who: "Curse of the Black Spot": The first 15 minutes were Graham Williams/"Horns of Nimon" bad and weighed the rest of the episode down.

AMC peaked at Breaking Bad. the Walking Dead is only OK, and I've already stopped watching The Killing. Hell on Wheels looks to be just as tedious

Seems like nobody noticed, but I'll say it, Hell on Wheels looks awesome.

Really? One of the most juvenile joke I've ever heard is swell(Who Wants to Be A Millionaire)? Well it's TV.com I guess that makes sense.

Fringe! How am I supposed to survive the summer?

Uh, hello? Community? I'll assume, as IndianaMom has, that you're planning on "Swell"ing it after next week's two-parter. If not, then you suck. Hehe. Also, thanks for the trailer to Hell on Wheels. Not as awesome as I considered The Walking Dead when it first released a trailer (I don't remember if I ever saw a trailer for Breaking Bad), but it still looks pretty cool. Also, something about seeing Common in a trailer for a western-themed TV series is surprisingly cool.

I'm going to go ahead and agree with everyone else and say COMMUNITY!! Unless you were just waiting until it wraps up next week. (still not a good excuse)

I guess you're saving Community until next week's conclusion.

That so called journalist sure made my day:-D Obama took office and ordered the CIA to hunt down and kill Obama, the way she kept on saying that with such seirousness in her eyes, pure gold!
