USA Renews White Collar, Royal Pains, and Covert Affairs

King of the Summer USA Network made some big decisions today regarding three of its top warm-weather performers. Royal Pains, White Collar, and Covert Affairs have all been renewed for additional seasons today.

The most confidence went to Royal Pains, which was renewed for two seasons, a fifth and a sixth, for a total of 26 episodes. White Collar and Cover Affairs both received 16-episode orders. That will be Season 5 for White Collar and Season 4 for Covert Affairs.

Elsewhere at USA, Burn Notice is still awaiting word on a seventh season (it has yet to air the second half of Season 6, which begins in November), but the series is looking good for renewal. But as we've said before, Common Law is almost certainly getting canceled, and Necessary Roughness and Fairly Legal are looking boned, too.

F@$k most of you. I loved Fairly Legal, Common Law and Necessary Roughness.

Of course the same obviously goes to the rest but USA is making huge mistakes with these cancellations.

I really think that Neccessary Roughness is just hitting its stride and should be renewed. Fairly Legal was worse in Season 2 so unfortunately it should be the one that goes.

All I really care about is Burn Notice. Apparently there's a big "game changer" at the end of S6 airing in December. Looking forward to seeing how that comes into play with a S7.

I love all the shows except for Covert Affairs.. Common Law was my new thing.. Necessary Roughness and Fairly Legal I absolutely live so they must renew and Suits is a no brainer it must be renewed. USA keeps my summer interesting!!!

Necessary Roughness and Fairly Legal are two of my favorites i will miss them if they dont get renewed. But I admit I miss In Plan Sight.

If Common Law is cancelled then Warren Kole can join the S.H.I.E.L.D series, he plqyed an unnamed Helicarrier bridge officer but they could easily expand his character to Agent Clay Quartermain. He even looks like the character.

USA keeps me going during the summer. Yay for them.

Suits returns in January from it's mid season break to finish season 2 with the remaining 6 episodes. The final 2 episodes were the highest rated of season 2, but not as high as some in season 1. It should most likely be picked up for season 3 after the 6 remaining ones air.

I'm happy to hear that Royal Pains and White Collar have been renewed!

Fairly Legal was better in its first season than it was last season.

So backwards. Of the three, Royal Pains is the most decidedly mediocre.

fairly legal is a great show, i'll be very disappointed to see it cancelled

Oh, my... I can't believe this. I L-O-V-E-D Common Law... I can't believe it's most likely to be cancelled. That is some bad news. It looks like I'm the only one, but I'm really gonna miss it.

You are not alone. I LOVE it too. I really hope they don't cancel it. If they do, I'm gonna miss it too. =(

It was renewed.

I like Burn Notice but I wouldn't mind if they decided to end it. There's only so much storyline left before they're repeating themselves.

I too feel like Burn Notice is nearing the end of it's storyline. Unless they come up with something else good and compelling...

Yay, 3 shows I like got renewed!

Boo, 1 show I like is on the bubble, poor Burn Notice. That said, it's had a great run and really is starting to feel like it could wrap up soon if they wanted to - not that they should, but they could.

Not surprised that Common Law got canned, it was pretty lame. Fairly Legal proves that tampering sloppily with a weak concept can often just make it worse, so no big loss after a disastrous season 2.

I agree. I loved the first season of Fairly Legal. I thought it was a little gem that just needed some polishing. But they took a hammer to it and ruined. I couldn't even watch most of last season.

WTF: What is left to do with Burn Notice? Hasn't Michael killed everyone yet? Even the show's dentures are getting long in the tooth. At least Common Law has story left to tell. *sigh*

I like White collar, Covert Affairs, Burn Notice, and Suits, USA can cut the rest.

I haven't watched either Covert Affairs (watched up to season 2, then stopped) or Royal Pains (watched all of season 1, then stopped) in a while, but it's cool that they were renewed. Maybe if I have time, I'll get back to Covert Affairs (I doubt I'll watch Royal Pains again).

I'm particularly glad for White Collar's return. Burn Notice is getting a bit boring, but I'll continue to watch if it's brought back. Psych's my USA favorite, of course.

Me too. I LOVE Psych!

CA is good this season... if you went through the pain of the first 2 seasons you should watch season 3.

Psych was fantastic last season. You can skip Covert Affairs, and for the most part Royal Pains. And Burn Notice has two more episodes for me before I can it.

White Collar is good, but they need to shake it up a bit or introduce a new big bad.

Glad White Collar, Covert Affairs, and Royal Pains are coming back. Especially Royal Pains, it is such a good show. Burn Notice is coming back that's a given. I figured Common Law was going to get cancelled but to me everybody seemed to like Necessary Roughness so I don't think its going nowhere. Fairly Legal I think will be back too but it will probably be its last time.

Awesome!! I love Royal Pains and Covert Affairs (have no real opinion on White Collar one way or the other). But I hope Fairly Legal gets renewed!! Even though it's looking grim, I really enjoy that show!
