Men are from Mars, women are from Venus, and they're both heading to Veronica Mars.
The teen detective drama, which returns for its third season this October on The CW, will add Julie Gonzalo and Chris Lowell to the cast as recurring characters. The two will play Parker and Piz, college students who first appeared in season two.
Parker and Piz will show up in "Welcome Wagon," the first episode of season three, as students at Hearst College, the local college that title character Veronica Mars will attend. Also attending Hearst will be Veronica's friends, Wallace (Percy Daggs III), Logan (Jason Dohring), and Mac (Tina Majorino).
Mars creator Rob Thomas recently spoke about the new season of the show, which premieres October 3 on The CW. Thomas says that although Mars was only picked up for a 13 episode order this season, he is thinking like "a man who is confident he'll get 22."

Australia has just started season 2 and im so excited... Its probably the only show i would stay up to 11pm on a work night to watch. Its an obsession..Anyways i hope that they have a full season 3. I dont like veronica with duncan. Logan is absolutely beautiful
I hope that "Veronica Mars" will get it 22 episodes. I believe it is one of the BEST shows on the air. My teen ager and I watch it every week. At least this show is something that she and I can relate to.

I love that Logan and Veronica r going 2 the same college so we can see their relationship grow but i'm gonna miss Duncan so much! Word is that Teddy Dunn is through with the show, and would hate to see such a interesting character just go! I'm hoping that he will at least guest star on a few episodes accepting LoVe's relationship i hope...I mean u can't expect her to never move on even if it is with your ex-best friend/ best friend!
I just wish it was a lock that Michael Cera and Alia Shawkat were coming back.. I could care less about these new people. I need George Michael and Maeby at Hearst!
I am happy that Mac is being made a regular though.
I can't complain about how low the ratings were because I did not watch it at ALL when it aired. Mid-way through the second season, Netflix kept recommending it to me so I finally caved in and rented it. One word: Amazing! Now I am a total Veronica Mars junkie. If there are people like me who didn't watch it and liked it so much that they kept recommending it to people then expect some ratings!

The CW should keep this show around + give it the biggest push possible. VM IS the best show on TV. I dunno about "Piz", though. Hmm....

Parker and Piz didn't actually appear in Season 2. That's a weird and untrue rumor that seems to be spreading. I'm excited to see them, though. They're both adorable-looking people and apparently have good track records as actors.

How can anyone think of canceling something as awesome as this show? They let Sienfeld run for 80 freaking years and that show was a piece of crap. This is the only show I ever watched on UPN and will probably be the only show I watch on the CW, so if she goes, I go.

Well lets hope VM will do good since they put it up against shows like House and the Unit. Which all ready do very well with veiwers.
Weevil is coming back by episode 2 or 3, I think. I agree that it's incomplete without him in the cast.
hopefully Veronica Mars finds an audience on the CW network and receive the numbers twice of what it got on UPN.

veronica mars is the most awesome show ever.I think it is kewll that veronica is attending college with wallace mac and logan and i have no idea how the cast is going to deal with the revealance of the bus crash killer who just happened to be beaver.
I've heard that Piz is going to be the love interest for Veronica... I really hope that it doesn't last long and Logan and Veronica end up together!
Dude.. getting seriously freaked out they're not bringing back Frances Capra/Weevil. He's half the fun of VM, alongside Logan... and of course Veronica. The they're bringing in new characters, who will probably end up the same as Jackie and Duncan, missing for half the season.
Either way, it's a great show... but it's a great GREAT show with Weevil in it.

I haven't seen S2 so I don't know who they are, but it should be good. Hopefully VM will get 22 eps and not be cancelled. Should be fun to see Logan attending the college as Veronica and Wallace. :)
