I haven't seen much of Showtime's upcoming dramedy House of Lies aside from an embarrassing "Big Balls" promo, but consider my interest piqued after watching the latest trailer for the series. The series, which is set to debut January 8, stars Don Cheadle as the head of a corporate management consulting team that jumps through hoops to get the information its clients desire. But the team members aren't above looking out for themselves, too.
The video below shows House of Lies as a light-hearted take on ethics in the workplace and the underdog sticking its nose where it doesn't belong. Think Leverage, but without the outright criminal behavior as the central characters take from the rich and give to themselves. But mostly I wanted to post this trailer because Cheadle's co-star, Kristen Bell, makes an appearance in her underwear. Sold!
House of Lies debuts January 8 on Showtime. What do you think so far?

Don Cheadle is fantastic! And with Kristen Bell at his side this show looks very promising!
I'm excited to see Ben Schwartz on this. I've been following him on-line for years now making sketches and doing stand-up. And now it's exciting to see his career move on to TV and movies. Undercovers flopped last year, but let's see if some Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell magic will keep this show afloat.
Cheadle and Bell. Nobody loses in that situation. Also, Jean-Ralphio?
It looks hilarious.. I'm in too !
I was certainly interested in this show when it was first announced, mostly due to the cast: Cheadle and Bell are awesome, and Schwartz seemed funny enough in a few shows I've seen him in. But yes, the Big Balls promo was a little... stupid? This promo is alright...
Don Cheadle is phenomenal. I'm in.
You only saw her in underwear for like 2 seconds . . . . Yeah, I'm sold too.
