Watch the First Episode of Larry King's New Late-Night Show (VIDEO)

When Conan O'Brien announced that he was live-blogging last night's show on Facebook, one could at least expect it to include funny internet references, right? Alas, red didn't even have a laptop on his desk or a smartphone at the ready. Somebody was firing off these status updates during the telecast—but it wasn't our fair Coco.

That said, Conan's reliably reliable monologue made the entire show worth watching, more having to do with the fact that Conan unveiled the latest host to join the late-night TV family. Yep, Larry King is now hosting a show from the Warner Bros. Studio rafters.

Not every celebrity guest is guilty of recycling material when making the talk-show rounds, but most of them do. So James Franco should get credit for keeping his spots this week fresh on the late-night circuit.

Coming off Monday's round of Audience Skeeball with Jimmy Fallon, the Your Highness co-star didn't disappoint last night on The Colbert Report, where Franco and spoke really eloquently on his diverse career in the fine arts (Part 1) and geeked out over The Lord of the Rings with Stephen Colbert (Part 2).

I don't know whether to slap you or just laugh at you two. Of course Larry has retired - it was a bit.

This looks like it might be interesting for at least a couple episodes. Since I'm on the road a lot, I don't have cable tv. I get it all online from a service. Does anyone know if this show is going to be on TVDevo.com?
