Watch Tonight's Presidential Debate Online Right Here (VIDEO)

By now you know the drill, right? There's another presidential debate happening tonight—the second of three between President Barack Obama and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney taking place before next month's election—and because we basically live in the future, you can watch it live online (as well as on most of the major broadcast networks). This one's taking place at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York and will be moderated by CNN Chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley; it'll also employ a "town hall" format that allows members of the audience pose questions for the candidates to answer (Politico's got a good explanation of how it'll work). Anyway, because we love you, we've got the live feed all queued up right here:

UPDATE: The live event has ended, but here's the first segment of the archived video (you can find the rest here):

Whether you're planning to tune in because you want to be an informed citizen or simply because you want to understand the political jokes that will inevitably flood your Facebook news feed, the fun begins at 6pm Pacific / 7pm Mountain / 8pm Central / 9pm Eastern.

You can also watch the debate at the following online outlets:

Hulu

AOL

Has Thurston Howell Romney hoodwinked you? Mittens actually dissed 47% of Americansthat includes the elderly, working poor, and VETERANS! He actually said, "my job is not to worry about those people."

We are in a hot war, longest war in American history, $2 billion dollars a week, American soldiers getting shot and killed every week...And Sir Mittens doesn't mention one word of the Afghanistan war or salute our brave American troops in his RNC coronation speech...

A candidate running for president better mention this, and Sir Mittens didn't!

"When you give a speech you don't go through a laundry list, you talk about the things that you think are important." Mitt Romney, when asked about failing to mention the troops in his nomination speech at the Republican National Convention, Fox News interview (Sept. 7, 2012)

"It's not worth moving heaven and earth, spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person." Mitt Romney, speaking in 2007 about killing Osama bin Laden

Mittens, a presidential nominee, attempted to politicize the killings of American diplomats in Libya by falsely accusing President Obama of apologizing for America and getting the facts of the situation backwards.

Mittens Shoots First and Aims Later...

Mitt Romney doesn't even have a timetable to withdraw troops out of our longest war, in fact, he wants us to remain there indefinitely... President Obama KILLED Osama bin Laden and decimated al Qaeda's senior leadership. We accomplished our goals. We need to get the hell out of there ASAP! It's called withdrawing! We're steadily withdrawing American troops and handing security over to the Afghanistan people. We are finally getting out of America's LONGEST war.

And when our brave wounded warriors finally come back home, they are denied helpfrom Republicans... Just like Senate Republicans blocking a just recent $1 billion dollar veterans jobs program putting 720,000 veterans who are unemployed across the nation back to work; but those same Republicans will fight for more unfunded and unneeded trickle-down tax cuts for the top richest 2%, to the tune of $5 TRILLION dollars (if Mitt Romney has his way)...!

A presidential nominee who doesn't acknowledge our hot war, that's also our longest war, and doesn't salute our brave troops in the biggest speech of his life isn't a viable candidate for POTUS, period.

because you follow orders, soldier. It's not for you to ask why. You gave that up when you became government issue. For you to question your commander and chief, who is advised by your generals is a question of your commitment as a soldier. You do what you're told and that's it. Start questioning and people die. It's not like he's a dictator who deals out commands....he answers to Congress, he answers to his military leaders, and he answers to powers above him, and you know it. For you to think for one second that Romney would not have made the same tough decisions if not WORSE, is absolutely idiotic. Romeny is not privy to secret intelligence and CIA reports, nor State Department intelligence, so for him to open his stupid mouth when he knows nothing more than the average citizen is absolutely immature and ridiculous and a slander at our intelligence community. Like his lying personality knows more than a community of people that make it their LIVES to know things. So until you have tier 1 access, and are giving orders down instead of taking them, don't question those you chose to follow into this war in the first place.

Sorry you're jaded and bitter. War is a terrible, grotesque thing and you obviously know that quite well. However, it's not always necessary, and in this case, its gone far beyond its usefulness.

I am of the opinion that neither candidate is ideal for this country, so I take a bit of offense that you assume I'm for Obama.

President Obama is not hiding his taxes in offshore tax havens like the Cayman Islands and not hiding his tax returns from the American public, unlike "Mr. Business" himself, shady Thurston Howell Romney...

Also, President Obama is not hiding his political positions, unlike Mittens, who can't specify a single detail to anything and has flip-flipped on every single position/stance he has ever taken...

Mittens doesn't even know what he is hiding, because he doesn't even know what he's hiding from himself...

I agree but what he is doing is killing America and that is his plan!

Low information voters like yourself are killing America... No substance whatsoever...

Mittens is the one who is actually destroying America... His Bain Capital was not only one of the pioneers in outsourcing jobs to China, it actually invested in firms in the '90s that advised companies on how to profit from moving US jobs overseas.

Low information voters are being hoodwinked by Mittens...

Romney just brought up Reagan and the 0ver 10 percent during Reagan's years. Reagan had a democrat congress and that was the reason unemployment came down under 8 percent. Obama has a stubborn Republican Congress who isn't willing to do anything that will help the American People. They only have one thing in mind, GET RID OF OBAMA.

Exactly!

Republicans are now lunatic fringe teabaggers who act like extremists hell bent on destroying our American democracy from within. Like the freaking Taliban, it's THEIR way or NO way. They're willing to commit America to financial suicide off of the fiscal cliff if they don't get more UNFUNDED and UNNEEDED tax CUTS for the TOP richest 2%.

There are NO bipartisan agreements when GOP leadership held a SECRET meeting on President Obama's INAUGURATION day to agree to oppose and obstruct EVERYTHING President Obama tries to do the DAY he is inaugurated.

There are NO bipartisan agreements when one party not ONLY questions the legitimacy of the Presidency, but questions the legitimacy of the President's citizenship.

There are NO bipartisan agreements when Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell SAYS, "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president."

There are NO bipartisan agreements when Republicans filibustered MORE legislation, and required MORE cloture votes to break those filibusters, THAN in ANY Congress in recent HISTORY, making a 60-vote supermajority, rather than a simple 50-vote majority, a DE FACTO requirement for the passage of ANY legislation, and was used to weaken and thwart large pieces of President Obama's agenda.

There are NO bipartisan agreements when Republicans ABUSED the rules like NO other party in American HISTORY.

And there are NO bipartisan agreements when Republicans NEVER compromise EVER and ALWAYS say "NO!" to ANYTHING and EVERYTHING President Obama puts forth, even if it was Republican BORN and Republican SUPPORTED in the past.

You CANNOT negotiate with Republican extremists...

Their whole game was to make Obama look bad so they could get rid of him in four years... and then changed the rules when Ron Paul got enough delegates to be the Republican candidate so Romney could promote their bizarre agenda.

It is irritating that Romney wants to do in this debate what he did in the first debate but Candy Crowley is great and puts him in his place. Both need the time to talk, not just one.

Watching the pre-show now. Hopefully this go-round, the moderator will keep control of the debate. I want Obama to be stand up for himself and his views and Romney to actually answer a question. I don't feel like these are difficult things for these men to do.
