Wayne Brady flirting with comedy pilot at CW

The CW Network has picked up the comedy pilot Flirt, starring Wayne Brady as the only man working at a women's magazine.

Brady--who hosted his own daytime talk show, The Wayne Brady Show, from '02 to '04--next will be seen in the feature Crossover and has voice roles in the upcoming The Adventures of Brer Rabbit and Foodfight!

The CW will launch this fall in place of the WB and UPN, whose respective parents, Time Warner Inc. and CBS Corp., will jointly operate the new network.

In other pilot news:

Constance Zimmer has come on board ABC's comedy pilot 52 Fights, which chronicles a couple's (Christine Taylor, Matt Letscher) transition from dating to marriage. Zimmer will play Taylor's character's best friend, who is facing the demise of her own marriage. Zimmer will continue her recurring role on HBO's Entourage for that show's upcoming third season.

Danielle Panabaker has been added to the cast of CBS's drama pilot Shark, which stars James Woods as a celebrity lawyer who becomes a prosecutor. Panabaker will play the lawyer's teenage daughter. Her recent credits include Yours, Mine, & Ours and Sky High.
