Weekend Picks: Shark Week, Space Drama, and a Five-Legged Dog

It's the weekend, and you know what that means: HBO rules the roost on Sunday night. Here are this weekend's key new episodes:

Friday: Mental (9 p.m., FOX), Eureka, (9 p.m., SyFy)
Saturday: Dirty Sexy Money (10 p.m., ABC)
Sunday: Big Brother (8 p.m., CBS), True Blood (9 p.m., HBO),
HGTV Design Star (9 p.m., HGTV), Drop Dead Diva (9 p.m., LIFE),
Hung (10 p.m., HBO), Entourage (10:30 p.m., HBO)

Elsewhere on the airwaves ...

Dog Whisperer (6 p.m., NGC): Cesar Millan has a way with four-legged creatures -- but can he handle one with five? In this episode, he works with Rocky, a five-legged miniature pinscher with an aggression problem.

Inside the Jamie Foxx Blame It Tour (7:30 p.m., BET): This behind-the-scenes special offers a peek at Jamie Foxx's Blame It tour -- which he embarked on this month to promote his new album, Intuition. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of Foxx doing the Moonwalk.

There Will Be Blood (2 p.m., SHO2): We're still not sure why No Country for Old Men won all those golden statues in 2008 -- There Will Be Blood combines Daniel Day-Lewis's impassioned acting, Paul Thomas Anderson's gritty directing, and Jonny Greenwood's doom-filled soundtrack in one hell of an amazing film. (Not interested in the dark story of a corrupt oil man? Marathon it with Elle Woods: Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde air back-to-back on ABC Family, starting at 7 p.m.)

Globe Trekker (6 p.m., PBS): Who cares about Hollywood, anyway? In this episode, PBS travels through California, making stops that will thrill tourists natives alike. Highlights include Joshua Tree National Park, Santa Monica, Hearst Castle, Big Sur, the Gilroy Garlic Festival, and Humboldt County.

Face the Ace (9 p.m., NBC): Watch amateur poker players take on world-class professionals -- and compete for $1 million -- in this new reality show. Steve Schirripa (Bobby Baccalieri from The Sopranos!) hosts, and we're betting he has a pretty sly poker face.

Defying Gravity (9 p.m., ABC): Ron Livingston stars in this new genre-bending series, which has been touted as Grey's Anatomy in space. Sex in a spacesuit? We'll believe it when we see it.

The Next Food Network Star (9 p.m., FOOD): Only two chefs remain in this cooking competition, and the winner will be revealed tonight. Jeffrey Saad "cooks without borders," while Melissa D'Arabian spices up family-friendly fare -- which one will earn their own Food Network show?

Shark Week (7 p.m., DSC): It's the most wonderful time of the year! No, seriously: It's Shark Week on the Discovery Channel. The festivities begin with two hours of 10 Deadliest Sharks at 7 p.m., followed by the two-hour premiere of Blood in the Water at 9 p.m.
