What to Watch: February 15 - 21

White Collar returns this Friday night." link="/white-collar/show/75381/summary.html" target="_blank" loc="right">

TV.com's pick of the best TV shows on Aussie screens this week.

Good Game
New season. ABC's very own show on all things video games returns with Bajo and Hex. After last year's awkward exit for long-time co-host Junglist, the show has a little rebuilding to do with its fan base this year. Can it wipe the slate clean and move forward with its news, reviews, events, animations and interviews?

Airs: 8:30pm Monday on ABC

Brothers & Sisters
After revealing to her family she has cancer, Kitty (Calista Flockhart) begins her chemotherapy and asks Sarah (Rachel Griffiths) to be her "chemo buddy". To distract her sister from the brutal treatment, Sarah shares a story about meeting a French artist (Gilles Marini as Luc Laurent), all of which unfolds in flashback (look out for the French title on the credits!). It's seemingly indulgent until it all pays off unexpectedly in the third act to great effect, so much so that it overshadows all the other scenes with the rest of the family.

Airs: 9:30pm Monday on Seven

Top Gear
New season. Now in its new garage, timed perfectly with their appearance in Australia, is television's most entertaining car show. Eric Bana features in the first episode of the 14th season. Hammond and May take an Aston Martin DBS Volante, a Ferrari California and a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder to Romania in search of "the greatest road in the world". Followed by a repeat of the "Winter Olympics" special which has stunts that have to be seen to be believed, including driving a car down a ski jump.

Airs: 7:30pm Tuesday on Nine

Big Love
Is this the best season yet of Bill and his wives? Very possibly. Week after week there have been engrossing, high-stakes stories marked by dynamic performances. Following the sudden exit of Ana, this week the family takes a road trip as a religious sabbatical. But the adventure is memorable for all the wrong reasons as parents and children confess some of their darkest secrets.

Airs: 8:30pm Tuesday on SBS ONE

So You Think You Can Dance Australia
After last week's most gracious, and highly entertaining, showcase episode now it's time to turn up the heat, as the dancers go head to head in their pairs, for contemporary, jazz, hip hop and ballroom. Thursday night two dancers will be voted out in a live results show that includes a performance from Taylor Swift.

Airs: 8pm Wednesday on TEN

American Idol
Ellen DeGeneres proved she can hold her own with her fellow judges: fair-minded, funny and not afraid to say what has to be said -- and all without any real background in music. This week we're down to the last chance to make it to the Top 20, as the remaining contestants get to sing solo numbers and remind everyone just what they have that got them there in the first place.

Airs: 7:30pm Wednesday on FOX8

White Collar
Season return. Neal Caffrey (Matthew Bomer) returns as the smoothest criminal turned cop accomplice, this week going undercover as a stockbroker in a corrupt, rising Wall Street firm run by young boys with big toys. It's all a little austere but the charisma of Bomer is enough to pull it off. Meanwhile, it's his search for missing girlfriend Kate that is taking very interesting turns.

Airs: 10pm Friday on TEN

Doctor Who
The End of Time: Part Two is the final appearance by the wonderful David Tennant as the 10th Doctor. And it's a much better episode than Part One, principally because it takes time to acknowledge his contribution to the success of the Who revival. Look out for lots of familiar faces, an emotional ending, a brilliant twist and Bernard Cribbins as Wilfred Mott proving he is every bit the co-star as any of the Doctor's companions. This episode also marks the exit of producer Russell T. Davies. Will the Whoniverse ever be the same again?

Airs: 7:30pm Sunday on ABC1

The Good Wife
When the teenage son of a friend of the family fronts up to Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and asks for help, she has no idea how serious it will become. Still proving herself within her law firm, she will also have to contend with an ambitious young lawyer who is eager to cut a deal. Against all this procedural backdrop it is still the unravelling of Alicia's personal life that resonates most in this promising drama series.

Airs: 8:30pm Sunday on TEN

Good Game and Top Gear used to be essential Monday night viewing for me last year. But Junglist made Good Gear what it was and I can't help but think commercial television will ruin Top Gear.

Will be interesting to see how much footage nine has to cut out in order to fit the show in with all the ads.

Hmmm, pretty boring list. Criminal Minds Episode #100 is on, and that should DEFINITELY be on this list. I'll still be watching all of my great shows, even though they failed to find their way onto this list.
