What to watch on Thursday, July 5...

With the red, white, and blue fireworks behind us, television is back to its summer norm... for the most part. There's still really not that much on, but let's try to make the most of it! Here's what's on the docket tonight:

And we thought the 4th of July marathons were over! USA has promised to air the entirety of Seasons 1 and 2 (thus far) for a full 13 hours today. It's a great way to reacquaint yourself with this series' beginnings, so set those DVRs and soak it all in, Suits fans!

Breaking Pointe
As closing night approaches, the dancers begin to express their concern for Rex after his big fall on opening night—while the heated tension between Rex and Allison reaches its boiling point. And when Christiana's husband questions her about "life after ballet," she begins to question her husband's willingness to support her lifestyle, which spirals into a marital argument for the ages.

SEASON 1 FINALE, 10pm, Bravo
Self-prescribed D-lister Kathy Griffin will celebrate the end of her latest run on Bravo by inviting a legitimately funny guest to her stage. That guest is Jimmy Kimmel, which ups the chances that this show will go out with some semblance of dignity.

10pm, PBS
In "The City Dark," PBS explores the concept of "darkness" in terms of how it relates to the human psyche. Cancer researchers, astronomers, and ecologists alike will go into even more depth about the human fascination with the stars. I'm not really sure why cancer researchers are involved, but the fact that they are makes me think this episode is going to be worth the educational entertainment.

10pm, ABC
Rookie Blue
Tonight's semi-incestual episode is appropriately titled, "Messy Houses." In it, Andy responds to a domestic disturbance call only to discover that her very own, very estranged, mother is the social worker who was also called to the scene—awwwkwarrrd. Meanwhile, Sam, Chris, Nick, and Gail search for a missing mother and two children, and Detective Barber's recovered stash of weaponry is mysteriously re-discovered back on the streets. Who's to blame?

10pm, FX
In what probably feels like major regression to high school for Ryan tonight, he must deal with Wilfred's rising popularity. Poor, poor unpopular Ryan. Imaginary dogs have all the fun.
