What to watch this week on-air and online

For the week of January 26-February 1. There's plenty to watch this week both on television and online, leading off with the broadcast that everyone will be watching: The Super Bowl. But in the meantime, TV.com has plenty of goodies online, including sneak peeks at Joss Whedon's new show, Dollhouse.

What to watch on television:

House--"Big Baby"

Monday, 8:00 p.m. Fox
Wacky Dr. House examines the case of a special education teacher who collapses during class after spitting up blood. Elsewhere, Cameron takes on some of Cuddy's duties and Foreman determines Thirteen's future with clinical trials.

NCIS--"Love & War"

Tuesday, 8:00 p.m. CBS
Check out why NCIS is now one of television's top shows. In this episode, the team investigates the death of a seargent who may or may not have committed an act of treason. In order to find out, the deceased's private life must come to light.


Wednesday, 9 p.m. ABC
The best episode of the season so far sees Daniel Faraday further getting a handle on the island's situation, while Desmond goes on a search for answers.


Thursday, 8 p.m. CW
Allison Mack directs this episode of Smallville, which sees Clark go to Tess for information on Lana's disappearance. Instead, Clark learns news about an old friend.

Super Bowl XLIII

Sunday, 6:30 p.m. ET, 3:30 p.m. PT NBC
Some will watch the Steelers versus Cardinals, some will watch the glitzy commercials. Either way, we'll all be covered in BBQ sauce as part of this honorary American holiday. Plus, stick around for a special episode of The Office immediately after.

What to watch on TV.com:

Lost--"Jughead" Video Podcast

The video podcasts are back! This week, Jorge Garcia recounts the Hurley-centric premiere episodes in which he hearts his shi tzu, spills some ketchup, and recounts the entire chronology of the Losties to his bewildered yet supportive mother. Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse answer (yes, answer!) a fan question from Comic-Con.

Breaking Bad--Behind the Scenes

This Emmy-award winning drama returns for a second season of meth making madness in March; actor Aaron Paul gives us a tour of Walter White's famous trailer meth lab.

Heroes--Clip (Volume Four: Fugitives) A Clear and Present Danger

After suffering through the disastrous effects of injecting himself with super human powers, Suresh has a refreshed sense of self and takes to driving a cab like a regular guy.
