What to watch this week on-air and online

For the week of February 2-February 8: Only 51 more weeks until the next Super Bowl, so let's resume or regular programming. Monday night features Chuck in 3D, a new volume of Heroes, and House's 100th episode. Now available online are clips from Comedy Central's next potential hit and the post-Super-Bowl hour-long episode of The Office. But there's more--read on for our recommendations!

What to watch on television:

House--"The Greater Good"

Monday, 8:00 p.m. Fox
House celebrates its 100th episode tonight, so party it up with the grumpiest doctor on television. In this episode, the team looks at their own lives when a friend collapses pursuing what she loves.

Heroes--"A Clear and Present Danger"

Monday, 9:00 p.m. NBC
Heroes begins its fourth volume with new problems: a familiar face wants to see our superfriends locked up! Will this mark a return to form for one of NBC's one-time favorites?

Fringe--"The Transformation"

Tuesday, 9:00 p.m. Fox
Olivia, Peter, and Walter check out a bizarre plane crash. If it's produced by J.J. Abrams and involves wrecked planes, chances are it's good!

Life on Mars--"The Dark Side of the Mook"

Wednesday, 10 p.m. ABC
Strange robots creeping out of people's eyes! Voices telling Sam he's in a coma! Gretchen Mol's hairdo! Network TV's best new show keeps getting funkier and funkier. Bonus: this week adds severed heads to the mix.

Friday Night Lights--"Hello, Goodbye"

Friday, 9 p.m. NBC
Tara dates a new guy (and breaks my heart) and Matt gets closer to his mom (for better or worse). But the real story here is the departure of Smash Williams--this is his last episode.

Heroes showed some improvement last night, I like the fact that all the characters are together and not off doing separate story pilots. Still I'm not giving it a full endorsement until I see a few more episodes, but it seems to be going in the right direction.

Heroes and Fringe are what I'm hoping to watch. I enjoyed Chuck though I could have done without the 3D.

Heroes is going to get cancelled very soon. It's funny that every newspaper and website is trying to salvage that show... I am so surprised that no body mentions one of the best and still well written shows on Television: 24!!!!!! The show that moves at a joggers pace, and that plus house makes Monday Nights a winner on Fox

I gave Heroes another try. It was pretty good. And I didn't seem to miss much during the last several weeks. Chuck was a good episode, but the 3D thing was a waste.

I'd rather wait out the 51 weeks then watch some of these shows.
