What to watch this week on-air and online

For the week of February 9-February 15: It's a busy week featuring the debut of an anticipated sci-fi series, one of cable's best drama actors guest-starring in one of primetime's best comedies, and the return of a reality staple. On the Web, we've got an interview with two Heroes as well as an interview with the heroic crew of Flight 1549.

What to watch on television:

The Big Bang Theory--"The Maternal Capacitance"

Monday, 9:30 p.m. CBS
President Obama's primetime speech bumps the show to 9:30 p.m., which hopefully won't interfere with your Halo tournament. In this episode, Leonard's mom visits, which brings Leonard and Penny closer than ever.

American Idol--Hollywood Round cutdowns!

The top 36 gets revealed this week on the American phenomenon, as those who can't hit the high notes are sent packing. Will our 10 favorites make it? Will Kara and Simon claw each others' faces off? And most importantly, what will Casey Carlson be wearing?

Survivor--Edition 18 premiere

Thursday, 8 p.m. CBS
Another edition of Survivor already? Yup, and this one's coming to you from Brazil, where attitudes will clash, plans will be schemed, and the weak will perish. And I'm sure there will be plenty of bikini shots.

30 Rock--"St. Valentine's Day"

Thursday, 9:30 p.m. NBC
Mad Men's John Hamm shows his funny side when he guest stars as a potential knocker of Liz Lemon's boots. Elisa (Salma Hayek) takes Jack to church for Valentine's Day...awkward!

Why is this still being posted on February 20th?
This week is all about girl power on Friday night -- Summer Glau and Eliza Dushku on Dollhouse. Let the Whedonites rejoice. I'm so excited.
Survivor - enough already.
I think the list should be topped with Battlestar Galactica, it is easily the best out there at this moment!
I'm really looking forward to Dollhouse. I like 30 Rock too. I really can't be bothered with American Idol or Survivor, though.
Friday FTW. I love Terminator and can't wait for Dollhouse!!!
