In case you didn't see from the millions of promos over the last week, Southland
is premiering. The network has high hopes for the gritty Los Angeles cop show, which stars The O.C.
's Benjamin McKenzie in a very different role.

This is what we know about Harper's Island
: a lot of people die. This new murder mystery follows a wedding party on a secluded island in the Pacific Northwest in which one guest happens to be a murderer. Someone is expected to die each week, so start taking bets and creating drinking games now!
Friday, 8:00 p.m. Fox
The season finale of this sci-fi show could also very well be the series finale--we probably won't know for a while if it gets picked up for a third season. Either way, it promises to be explosive and should be considered must-see TV this week.
What to watch on TV.com:
Fringe returns with six new episodes in a row. This week, Olivia and the team rescue a boy who grew up in a cave and has some serious vitamin D deficiencies. Walter Bishop does a little dance that leaves us feeling... a little confused.
