What to watch on television:

Lost--"Dead is Dead"

Wednesday, 9 p.m. ABC
Ben-centric episodes are always pivotal in this show, but listen to the description of this week's airing: To atone for sins of the past, Ben must attempt to summon the smoke monster in order to be judged. Sign us up!

Parks and Recreation--"Make My Pit a Park"

Thursday, 8:30 p.m. NBC
From the producers of The Office comes the latest anticipated NBC comedy, this one starring Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones. NBC needs this to be a hit, but early word is that it may get off to a shaky start. But how can anything with Aziz Ansari not be funny?

Thursday, 10:00 p.m. NBC
In case you didn't see from the millions of promos over the last week, Southland is premiering. The network has high hopes for the gritty Los Angeles cop show, which stars The O.C.'s Benjamin McKenzie in a very different role.

Harper's Island--"Pilot"

Thursday, 10:00 p.m. CBS
This is what we know about Harper's Island: a lot of people die. This new murder mystery follows a wedding party on a secluded island in the Pacific Northwest in which one guest happens to be a murderer. Someone is expected to die each week, so start taking bets and creating drinking games now!

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles--"Born to Run"

Friday, 8:00 p.m. Fox
The season finale of this sci-fi show could also very well be the series finale--we probably won't know for a while if it gets picked up for a third season. Either way, it promises to be explosive and should be considered must-see TV this week.

What to watch on TV.com:

Fringe--Walter gets down

Fringe returns with six new episodes in a row. This week, Olivia and the team rescue a boy who grew up in a cave and has some serious vitamin D deficiencies. Walter Bishop does a little dance that leaves us feeling... a little confused.

Southland--Being a cop stinks!

OMG, everyone’s favorite hottie Benjamin McKenzie from The OC is back on TV as detective Ben Sherman. Check out a clip from this Thursday’s series premiere.

The Unusuals--Fashionable bullet-proof vests

This new series is about a group of "unusual" detectives--one is suicidal, another is extremely religious, and one survived a boat explosion on the island to become a detective. (Lost's Harol Perrineau Jr.)

Parks and Recreation--Committees covered in blooooood

Yes, it looks a lot like The Office, but that's not a bad thing, is it?

The Biggest Loser--Makeover...Hollywood style!

One husband gets to see the results of his wife's stint on the weight loss show... get a room!
