Even though Halloween isn't technically until Monday, it's THIS weekend where we'll be doing all of our screamin' and spookin'. Are you mentally prepared for all the Halloween terror? It's looking verrrrry scaaaaary out there, you guys!
What to watch on Friday, October 28...

SEASON 5 PREMIERE, 8pm, NBC
Chuck
Hey all you Chuck fans! How stoked are you about the show's return? Five seasons seems like a lot for a series that almost gets canceled every year, so this is a huge accomplishment. Anyway, tonight Chuck deals with his brand-new spy-for-hire business and guest-star Craig Kilborn appears as a "sly investor" for Carmichael Industries.
9pm, Fox Sorry guys, the Cardinals won. Fringe will return next week.
Fringe
Nina Sharp pays a visit to Walter's lab with presumably awkward results. Plus the translucent shape-shifters return! Aaaaahhh! They are gross.
SERIES PREMIERE, 9pm, NBC
Grimm
Although Grimm is bound to become only your second-favorite fairy tale themed supernatural drama, it's still a solid (and surprisingly scary) show. In tonight's premiere, a jogger in a red hoodie is abducted by a wolfish serial killer, plus a handsome young detective realizes that demon-faced "reapers" are everywhere in our midst. Also if you've ever wanted to see a middle-aged woman with cancer go all ninja on a grim reaper, this is your show.
9pm, CW
Supernatural
In the tantalizingly titled "Slash Fiction," two Leviathans clone Sam and Dean, impersonate them, and then land them on the FBI's Most Wanted list. No but seriously, that title better be accurate!
10pm, Starz
Boss
Kane and his peeps do whatever they can to stay ahead in the race, plus Meredith comes to suspect her husband is being shady. Whoa whoa whoa, a politician being dishonest doesn't make any sense!

What to watch on Sunday, October 30...

8pm, ABC
Once Upon a Time
The Evil Queen continues her sassy, sinister shenanigans when she releases a curse into the fairytale world. Elsewhere, Regina attempts to get Emma to leave Storybrooke. Nobody would have to tell me twice, but then again I'm not a hottie bounty hunter with nothing else going on.
9pm, AMC
The Walking Dead
The slow-motion nightmare continues as Shane attempts to get himself out of that pickle at the high school and Daryl helps Andrea scour the woods for Sophia. (P.S. Did anybody else cry during last week's episode? I am NOT ashamed to admit it.)
SERIES PREMIERE, 8:30pm, Fox
Allen Gregory
In this rare non-Seth MacFarlane Fox animated series, a snooty 7-year-old boy (voiced by Jonah Hill) who was raised by gay dads finds his new public school to be completely beneath him. Sounds promising, but who even knows anymore?
9pm, Showtime
Dexter
Dexter is hot on the trail of the Doomsday Killer(s), and enlists Brother Sam for some spiritual guidance. Elsewhere, Quinn and Batista track down Professor Gellar's old haunts. Last week's episode was terrific, so fingers-crossed for tonight's!
10pm, Showtime
Homeland
Carrie zeroes in on Brody's alibi during a confrontation with the sole survivor of a similar hostage situation. Plus the agency looks into a pair of suspicious lovers who bought a house near the airport. Plus at the end of the episode everyone takes a much needed rest and there's a Slip 'N Slide party! No there isn't.
9pm, Discovery
How Evil Are You?
Horror director Eli Roth and a team of "psychological experts" conduct a series of experiments on ordinary Joes to determine just how effed-up people are willing to be. Like, can they eat red meat while watching Hostel? Or can they shave their legs while watching Cabin Fever? Tune in to find out!

What are you watching this weekend?

"Once Upon A Time"
I don't think there's a new episode of A Gifted Man this weekend...I can't find it, and on the show page it says there isn't one until next weekend.
Once Upon A Time, The Walking Dead, Dexter, and Hung.
forgot to mention Merlin on tonight
That's probably just for people in the UK. The new season won't be airing in the US until a few months from now.
Unless you know where to look online (: I've been keeping up on it easily enough ^_^
I never thought that i would say this, but I am done with Supernatural. Last night's episode was a bore. I am watching Grimm from now on. They should have kept Misha/Castiel.
Grimm (Watched it, was freaking awesome), Homeland, Dexter, Walking Dead, Once Upon a Time... may check out Allen Gregory, and I believe Misfits returns this weekend as well.
So much stuff: Fri - Chuck and Boss. Sun - Dexter, Homeland, Boardwalk Empire, Family Guy and The Walking Dead. No American Dad though?
Fringe... I mean, not Fringe -_- Will be taping Chuck, then watching Grimm, Supernatural and Boss.
Ready for Chuck, but can we kill jeff and Lester already, they completely ruin the flow of the show
No, they're funny! Buy More rocks!
Maybe I will travel to the red universe where the Cardinals lose and Fringe is on today.
Chuck, Grimm and Nikita, Yay actual good tv to watch on Fridays
Sanctuary, Grimm, Once Upon A Time, Desperate Housewives
CHUCK!!!!
Friday- Chuck. Then catching up on DVR from the last 2 weeks. Sunday, definitely Once Upon a Time!
I wanted to watch Fringe so badly. Can't believe it will be 3 weeks since the last episode next week. Anyways, I'll try Grimm, but I'm secretly hoping it's horrible so the show doesn't steal Fringe's viewers (it will.)
Sunday - The Amazing Race, Desperate Housewives, The Walking Dead
once upon a time, desperate housewives, pan am, nikita
Seriously, baseball over Fringe, we play a game in the UK like baseball, it's called rounders, and only schoolgirls play it............
HAHAHAHA! My friend from Manchester was telling me about Rounders the other night when we were mocking Baseball being a "Real" sport lol.
thundercats along side young justice next week m awesome !
i am excited to see Grimm vs Supernatural ! who gonna win the ratings battle
Grimm has got it SO much more together than Once Upon A Time!! Hope other people think the same.. OUAT seemed so..fake?
hmm next week.......Fringe vs Supernatural vs Grimms.....this cannot be good :(
That was smart of CBS to pull new episodes of their shows. I'm hoping reruns on the other network will help out NBC and they'll see respectable numbers from those not interested in the game.
Friday: No new FOX or CBS shows tonight, so it's just Chuck, Grimm, and Boss.
Saturday: Nada.
Sunday: Once Upon a Time, The Simpsons, Allen Gregory, Family Guy, Homeland, Pan Am (still meh), Boardwalk Empire, and How to Make It in America.
Supernatural, Grimm, Fringe, Dexter,NFL,etc
Chuck, Supernatural, Grimm, Sanctuary. I wish Fringe would air later. Oh well. tonight will still be awesome!
Sunday: The Walking Dead, Dexter, Lost Girl.
TCW, Blue Bloods, Grimm, Supernatural, Chuck, The Good Witch, Desperate Housewives, and Once Upon a Time
Does anybody know what animal that is in the second subliminal picture? Is it a mutant Tiger or something? What show/movie is it from?
It's the Zombie Tiger from Zombie Apocalypse. It kind of looks like a Sabretooth from a Dinosaur movie though.
Thanks. Though, I probably should have read the synopsis for the movie, before asking a question about a picture that was clearly explained (in caps) directly beneath it.
Actually, it's TIGGER!! He got hungry and ate Pooh, who ate the honey that Eeyore stored his X in!!! Moral of the story is Don't do drugs or you end up feeling like POOH!!!
I'm so looking forward to Grimm tonight. But NBC + Friday night death slot = surefire cancellation.
Yeah, surprisingly it looks pretty cool...unlike 'The Cape' which looked beyond ridiculous from the very first screen shot...
Though, it's like you said-- it's NBC, so tread carefully.
Chuck, Once Upon a Time, Grimm!!! I saw the Grimm premiere early (thanks Twitter!) and I thought it was fantastic. Not to potentially libel my favorite cult series, but this is the new Buffy/Angel. Totally different from Once Upon a Time, and while I like the Sunday series, Grimm is better in my opinion.
CBS Pulls Tonight''s "A Gifted Man," "CSI: NY" and "Blue Bloods" Originals in Favor of Repeats
http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2011/10/28/cbs-pulls-tonights-a-gifted-man-csi-ny-and-blue-bloods-originals-in-favor-of-repeats-790502/20111028cbs01/
Thanks for the heads up :)
Chuck (a show with Yvonne Strahovski is impossible NOT to watch, she's just too hot)...Love fantasy and sci-fi, so I will definitely check out Grimm as well...
Then there's the usual suspects--Nikita & Supernatural.
Dear Nelson Cruz,
You suck dude.... if you actually knew how to catch a fly ball, we would have Fringe tonight.
A good outfielder makes that play. Horrible positioning. Pathetic anticipation.
Plus, for the first time ever a team blew 3 saves in a WS game!
