In “Cornered,” the squad must face off against an alien gladiator in a cage match. Now, that does sound like a rollicking superhero story. But I must confess, when I first pulled up the episode summary I misread it as “cage match with an alien gator,” and now I want to watch the hell out of THAT episode instead.

Competitors vying for the crown come from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. For yet another year, my lonely campaign to secure just representation for Guam and the Northern Marianas falls upon deaf ears.
The band and Roxie feud in “End of the World as We Know It,” leading each to work with the other’s biggest professional rival.
