What to watch on Monday, December 3...

100TH EPISODE, 8pm, The CW
The teen soap reboot rings in its 100th episode tonight, believe it or not. Expect plenty of walks down memory lane and guest appearances by characters from the original series, possibly including a reality-bending paradox spurred by the collision of the Golden Age Ian Ziering and the Silver Age Ian Ziering which can only be resolved through the Crisis on Infinite Beverly Hillses.

150TH EPISODE, 8pm, Fox
Cyndi Lauper guest-stars (again) as a psychic in “The Ghost in the Machine.” That's also the name of a record by The Police, so all signs point to the forensic detective procedural celebrating its 150th episode with an ‘80s-infused rock opera extravaganza.

8pm, CBS
How I Met Your Mother
Robin schemes to woo Barney into one, ahem, “final” tryst. Ted plays nanny to baby Marvin. The rest of us put our heads down and mutter “13 episodes… just 13 more episodes…” over and over.

SEASON 2 PREMIERE, 10pm, Travel Channel
Hotel Impossible
Hotel whisperer Anthony Melchiorri returns to travel the nation, diagnosing the hospitality industry’s most downtrodden fixer-uppers. In the second-season premiere, he’ll work his magic on a Puerto Rico beach resort that’s struggling to turn a profit and, let’s assume, is also haunted by some ghost pirates.

10pm, NBC
Blake Shelton’s Not-So-Family Christmas
It wouldn’t be Christmastime on network TV without a star(?)-studded variety special. This gift bag of Holiday Hijinx™ is sure to be chock-full of Yuletide cheer, musical numbers featuring Shelton alongside Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire, and the NBC-sanctioned comic stylings of Jay Leno and Larry the Cable Guy.

10pm, ABC
Castle and Beckett investigate when a bearded man named Kris Kringle plummets to his death. If I know my way around detective shows, I bet that not 20 minutes in, we'll find out that the poor sap had been schtupping Blitzen’s wife for months.
