What to Watch Tonight: Alcatraz, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and Castle

What to watch on Monday, March 26...

Is it Friday yet??? Haha just kidding, Mondays are cool. They're just slow. Mondays are basically the closest we'll ever come to stopping time. Doesn't it feel great to not be growing older today? Anyway, these things are on tonight:

SEASON 1 FINALE, 8pm, Fox
Alcatraz
Nobody knows whether Alcatraz will be back for another season, so if you're a fan, you might want to linger just a moment longer during tonight's goodbye hug. Make it count! In the double-dose finale, Rebecca and Doc start to understand just how and why the criminals have been returning to the present day. Meanwhile something is discovered beneath the halls of Alcatraz.

MIDSEASON PREMIERE, 8pm, ABC Family
The Secret Life of the American Teenager
The ABC Family teen soap train just keeps on chuggin' with tonight's return of the slightly more family-friendly Secret Life of the American Teenager. In "Smokin Like a Virgin," Amy decides she wants a looooong engagement, plus Ben goes after a wild party girl with bad-news friends. But shhhhh! It's a secret.

8pm, NBC
The Voice
The world's most melodic screaming matches continue tonight as the judges will assess another two full hours of battle sing-offs!

10pm, ABC
Castle
In yet another high-stress romp, Castle and Beckett will laboriously focus on the 47 seconds prior to a bomb explosion during a public protest. That means they'll probably have to pore through about 6,000 hours of camera phone footage! (I'm guessing.)

9pm, Syfy
Being Human
Sally's paranormal misadventures continue tonight when she tries to fix a life she destroyed. Meanwhile in more relationship-oriented news, Suren and Aidan make plans to shack up and Josh must finally decide between Nora and Julia. Ugh, monster romance.

It would be fun if the Alcatraz finale actually turned out to be great. No idea how that would happen though. Not even a frozen donkey wheel could turn this show right.

might be my last season watching MIOBI, they've started focusing less on the gymnastics aspect and more on stupid drama like the rest of ABC Family's shows, which I hate (except for Melissa & Joey, so let's just say ABCF's Monday lineup).. althought it was funny how Payson pointed out that shows are making being a teen mom popular when it shouldn't be, while ABC Family's own show is pretty much the start of that ridiculous trend.

Alcatraz (not a great show so far, but the only one I'm interested in on Mondays. That is thanks to it having some sort of time travel element hidden somewhere in all the "I don't care about this stuff" moments.)
