What to watch on Monday, August 15.
All right, it's Monday, but don't sweat it—this is going to be a good week. See, it's in writing and everything! Now it HAS to be true. The TV pickings aren't too bad, either:
SEASON 1 FINALE, 10pm, MTV
Teen Wolf
It's been a long, hard, frequently towel-clad journey, but Teen Wolf has finally accomplished it: Relevance. Good first season, Teen Wolf! Now you just have to nail the landing. In tonight's finale, Scott will find himself caught in the crossfire between hunters and the werewolves, plus he'll have the added stress of trying to win back Allison, who has allegiances to both.
SERIES PREMIERE, 9pm, ABC Family
The Lying Game
In what seems to be a perfect distillation of the premises of both Pretty Little Liars and Switched at Birth, The Lying Game is a show about estranged-but-reunited identical twin sisters who switch lives and cause drama in their respective social circles. In tonight's premiere, one of the girls disappears mid-switcheroo, and the other must decide whether to continue the charade.
10pm, Syfy
Alphas
When bruiser Bill and nerdy Gary team up for an outside case, they end up getting into an Alpha-powered pickle. Also, for you Stargate: SGU fans, Alaina Huffman guest-stars! (Assuming you can even see the TV through those SGU cancellation-related torrents of tears.)
ORIGINAL MOVIE, 8pm, Lifetime
Deadly Sibling Rivalry
Oh, Lifetime. Check out this premise: When a woman falls into a coma after a car accident, her mentally disturbed identical twin sister assumes her identity and only the woman's teenage daughter suspects something is up. Great premise! Also, the ONLY premise these days? Anyway, Buffy's Charisma Carpenter stars.
ORIGINAL SPECIAL, 10pm, Animal Planet
Animal Planet Investigates: My First Kill
There are few harder-hitting news sources than Animal Planet—we all know this. Tune in tonight for the channel's newest investigation into famous serial killers' earliest victims: THEIR PETS.
SEASON 2 PREMIERE, 10pm, Oxygen
Hair Battle Spectacular
Are you ready for another season of the most ludicrous hairstyles you've seen since the last time you were at the mall? In tonight's Season 2 premiere of the weirdest reality competition on basic cable, hairstylists will compete in a styling challenge inspired by celebrity tweets. Obviously.

Can't wait for Teen Wolf and Alphas!!
Weeds, The Big C, Teen Wolf.
I'd love if Price review the first season of Teen Wolf >.<
That is a fantastic idea. I haven't started watching Teen Wolf yet, but if Price reviewed the first season, that alone would persuade me to start watching.
Lying Game, Rizzoli and Isles
I only watch Teen Wolf because of Dylan O'Brien (Stiles), who I think has great comical timing & skills. Hope to see more of him in the future!
Eureka, Hell's Kitchen, The Closer, Warehouse 13, Rizzoli&Isles, The Lying Game (but only because I can't find enough information to dismiss it out of hand yet, and I find Switched at Birth strangely entertaining)
Eureka, the lying game, alphas.
let's hope that these are three well spent hours, although i do have some doubts about the lying game, mainly the casting of the lead character...
Eureka, MAD, Warehouse 13, Hoarders, Alphas, RuPaul's Drag U, Daily Show, Colbert.
