What to watch on Wednesday, April 25...

If your favorite night of TV is Wednesday, then congratulations! Today is your day. (Plus you have good taste.) Tonight's looking to be a lot of fun, and the fun starts here:

8pm, Fox
American Idol
Tonight the lords of the karaoke dome grant contestants the privilege of singing QUEEN songs! That is just a good catalog of songs. And for added authenticity, original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor will be in the house. Don't mess this up, kids.

10pm, ABC
Revenge
Big things are about to happen in the Fake Hamptons, starting tonight when Emily uncovers the identify of her father's killer! Meanwhile Declan risks messing up his romance with Charlotte when he decides to testify in court. (Heartbreaking fact: Testifying in court is the #1 reason couples break up!)

MIDSEASON FINALE, 10pm, Comedy Central
South Park
South Park's taking a bit of a hiatus after tonight, but it's at least leaving us with this juicy premise: Cartman falls in love! But will the new girl at school reciprocate his feelings or just break his heart? And by that I mean testify in court.

SERIES PREMIERE, 10pm, Syfy
Total Blackout
If you like both high-anxiety reality shows AND infrared footage, you have a new favorite series! Total Blackout is a Steve Urkel-hosted game show in which contestants face their fears by touching icky things in pitch blackness. And NOT with sexy results.

SEASON 2 FINALE, 10:30pm, Comedy Central
Ugly Americans
In Ugly Americans' Season 2 finale, "Fools for Love," Mark attempts to get serious with Callie but her ex-boyfriend isn't having it. Elsewhere, Leonard realizes he has a winning lottery ticket, but Randall wants in on the prize. All that plus tonnnns of penis jokes. Have a great summer, Ugly Americans!
