What to watch on Tuesday, August 23...

Lily Tomlin on Web Therapy.

Like a pony wearing sunglasses, tonight's TV lineup will eat all of your hay and then give you attitude about it!

9pm, NBC
America's Got Talent
Though it may SEEM like this show has been on every night for the past six months, the truth is we're only just starting the semi-finals! Tune in tonight for twelve more eyeball-searing and brain-tingling performances from America's deep pocket of reality talent show contestants. "X!" —Sharon Osbourne.

11pm, MTV
Jenna finds herself standing shoulder to shoulder with the mean girls when she gets roped into participating in a fancy charity event. Also, her weird love triangle with Matty and Jake continues. Tough break, lady.

8pm, ABC Family
Pretty Little Liars
Finally reaching their "A"-related breaking points, the girls decide to confide in Dr. Sullivan. Plus, as Tom's wedding draws near, guest-star Betty Buckley rolls into town as Hanna's mysterious grandmother.

11pm, Showtime
Web Therapy
Dr. Fiona's shaky marriage continues its slow-motion crumble when she discovers more about Kip's extracurricular activities. Meanwhile Fiona's mom (the awesome Lily Tomlin) turns out to have a secret past that threatens Fiona's burgeoning online business.

10pm, ABC
Combat Hospital
The hospital chaplain has a crisis of faith (something to do with combat, I'm guessing) but nonetheless stands by Simon as a difficult surgery unfolds (also probably combat-related).
