What to Watch Tonight: Bachelor Pad's Finale, Alphas, and Grimm

What to watch on Monday, September 10...

Alright, here we go: It's the beginning of a new week. Time to make some new week's resolutions. What's my new week's resolution, you ask? Easy! I'm giving up junk food and replacing it with reality TV. And I'm also giving up exercise. And the outdoors. And healthy food, too. Wait, did I just give up all food, all together? I think I did. Damnit. Here's what's on TV tonight:

8pm, Syfy
Alphas
In "Gods and Monsters" it becomes readily apparent that Parish's intentions are exceedingly evil when a young Alpha starts to show off some crazily dangerous mind-control skills. Having pretty much no other choice, Rosen realizes the only way to beat Parish is to, well, beat Parish. Will Rosen's efforts pay off?

SEASON FINALE, 8pm, ABC
Bachelor Pad
Oh em gee it's, like, the finale and stuff! Can you guess what's going to go down? I'll give you a hint. It has to do with a winning couple and lot of money. And also challenges. And roses. And bears, oh my! Okay, not really bears. But tonight Bachelor Pad will crown its reigning couple, who managed to survive the Bachelor house either because they're cunning or like-able or flat out lucky—and they may have also fooled themselves that they're in love. Poor chaps.

9pm, Syfy
Warehouse 13
In "Endless Monsters" Myka and Pete come across a drug that can actually make you taller (go ask Alice). In the process they make the acquaintance of a very strange drug company executive. Meanwhile, Steve, Artie, and Claudio sneakily follow Brother Adrian to his hiding place. And it's not a treehouse or a broom closet (which were always the first two places I'd look when seeking).

10pm, NBC
Grimm
In "The Good Shepherd" Monroe takes it upon himself to investigate a Wesen church shortly after a major robbery and all of the church goers become suspects. Nick, in the meantime, is making serious moves to reconnect with Juliette, hoping to spark her memories of him. Unfortunately for him, he's being followed—and that could mean really bad news for Juliette.

10:30pm, MTV
The Inbetweeners
Tonight's episode is called "The Wrong Box." Is that some kind of innuendo or a literal proclamation? I guess we'll have to find out, but I'm leaning toward innuendo: Will falls in love with the girl of his dreams, who happens to love cooking, so he decides to spearhead a cooking club on campus. Simon takes advantage of the plan, hoping his cooking skills will impress Carly. How hard can it be? Probably too hard for these two.

Grimm isn't on tonight because it's moved to Fridays. And this Friday it's a repeat. Hellooooooooooo?? Why is it that readers are more up-to-date on what's happening than the writers.

sorry people, no Grimm tonight, it doesn't come back until 9/28 because NBC wants to premier The New Normal instead. Because as you all know, NBC really wants to focus on their shiny new "unsophisticated" comedies. Ahh, feeling good about the direction of society right now.

I can't blame them for not wanting to waste a good lead-in on Grimm. Grimm doesn't need it. The ratings will be the same on Friday nights (though they'll look better there) and it's a good bet The New Normal and encore of Go On will do better than a new episode of Grimm would have. They're trying to create some new hits. NBC sure needs them. Though I really doubt Go On sees a second season. Maybe not even a full season period.

Anyway, according to the newest Entertainment Weekly Grimm is airing on Friday the 21st?

Oh no, I agree with you about Grimm, I just like to stab at NBC whenever I can.

Grimm will also do alot better on Fridays without Supernatural... Was really biased about Grimm being very similar to Supernatural........ but Grimm really has found it's nitch and is a really good show
Reply

Do you not like Go On, it is at least better than New Normal.

Go On is better than the New Normal. I agree. But Go On's success is going to be entirely based upon the use of the other characters rather than Matthew Perry.

Switched at Birth.

Yes, I believe Grimm is on hiatus until Sep. 28 when it moves to its new/original Friday night slot.

With that, just Alphas tonight. Craig Ferguson, as well, if it's new.

Switched at Birth for me

NBC is really stupid.

After Grimm last week, they said it was moving to Friday's on Sept 28, at the same time and night as Fringe's final season premier, and that Revolution would be premiering in the 10/9pm slot tonight. My DVR thinks Grimm will be on tonight, and NBC's front page says that at 10pm, they'll be showing The New Normal and Go On.

Maybe someone from here could contact NBC and let us know what's really happening? Like in a front-page article? It'd really be appreciated!!
