What to Watch Tonight: Big Brother, Rookie Blue, and Project Runway

What to watch on Thursday, September 1...

Rookie Blue

Whoops, it's September! Father Time is a real jerk. Let's not dwell on it though, 'cause we got a 3D-Dub (three day weekend!) coming up, plus a boatload of newer, better TV shows start soon. Until then, we've got these:

9pm, CBS
Big Brother
Um, have you been following this season? Be honest. Last Thursday's double-eviction was kind of incredible, right? Daniele and Jeff's shocking evictions turned a super boring season into one of the most exciting and satisfying shows on television. So much sobbing! Tune in tonight to see that power balance shift again when the houseguests must choose between Friendly Doofus Adam and Pretty Shelly for eviction. PRO TIP: Thursday nights are the best nights to tune into Big Brother After Dark on Showtime 2. There's really nothing like an awkward live feed.

10pm, ABC
Rookie Blue
The rookies continue coming of age when they participate in an undercover training exercise, plus Dov goes on a ride-along with a drug dealer and faces a career-changing choice. Oh no, don't deal drugs, Dov!!

9pm, Lifetime
Project Runway
Tonight the remaining designers team up with artistic children to design their next garments. CANNOT wait to see what terrible thing Bert will say about his child collaborator.

9pm, USA
Burn Notice
Fresh off her award-winning* stint as a coma victim/evil twin, Charisma Carpenter guest-stars in tonight's episode of Burn Notice, which finds Michael and Fiona posing as a wealthy married couple in order to infiltrate a South American resort. (*No awards)

11pm, Spike
Last Cup: Road to the World Series of Beer Pong
It seems weird that Spike would air a documentary about competitive beer pong players competing in in the World Series of Beer Pong in Las Vegas. It just doesn't seem like Spike's style, you know? J/K BRO!!!

10:30pm, FX
Tonight Louie's permanently sobbing sister arrives in New York, deposits her daughter in Louie's care, and then departs New York (a.k.a. The OLDEST trick in the book). Also, real-life standup comedy figures Godfrey, Todd Barry, and Nick DiPaolo appear as themselves.
