What to watch on Monday, November 5...
Tick, tock: Did you guys remember to turn back your clocks back? If not, you'd better get on it—you don't want your DVR to miss any of tonight's television lineup:
After a short hiatus, Bones returns tonight with "The Method in the Madness," in which the Jeffersonian team investigates the death of a woman whose body is found mutilated and discarded in the trash. Meanwhile, Booth invites Sweets—who's going through an "early-life crisis"—to stay with him and Brennan until Sweets finds a new apartment. What kind of roommate do you think Sweets will be?
How I Met Your Mother
Following last Monday's preemption due to Hurricane Sandy, this is the episode that was supposed to air a week ago. In "The Autumn Of Breakups," Barney—who's going breakup crazy—introduces his new wingman to his friends, but they end up becoming concerned because said wingman happens to be a four-legged pooch. Meanwhile, Ted and Victoria—who are also going through difficult times in their relationship—consider the next step. Will they be next couple to call it quits? It's definitely not Marshall and Lily...
Say goodbye to Montage Magic, because tonight The Voice will ditch the "knockout rounds" for the "live playoffs"—and viewers will finally have the chance to vote for their favorite artists. There are three episodes of The Voice in the next four days—the singing stops on Tuesday because of the election—and the three-night event will narrow the field from the Top 20 to the Top 12. That's eight eliminations... brutal!
The Mob Doctor
In "Legacy," Constantine "asks" Dr. Grace to kill a patient's estranged father in order to get the organ she needs for someone who's in a desperate need of a transplant. Are you guys planning on sticking with this show?
SERIES FINALE, 9pm, Travel
Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations
After eating his way around the globe, Anthony Bourdain ends his long-running series No Reservations tonight. In the series finale, Anthony travels through Brooklyn with rapper Talib Kweli and actors from The Wire, plus he dines with a four-star chef who goes by the name of Eric Ripert. Maybe you've heard of him?
Same deal as How I Met Your Mother—tonight's episode was supposed to air last week. That's why it's Halloween in "Mohai," which sees the team investigating a grisly murder involving a victim with his organs removed. But it's not all killings and hollowed-out victims, there are some costumes, too! And kids, happily trick-or-treating. So, you know, something for everyone.
In "Children's Crusade," Charlie meets a boy whose past is similar to her own and wants to help him and his friends, but first she has to convince Miles that they can be trusted. Elsewhere, Rachel meets someone from her past. Oh, and we might also get an explanation as to why the lights went out in the first place. (Why don't we believe you on that last part, Revolution?)
SERIES PREMIERE, 10pm, Bravo
Start-ups: Silicon Valley
This new reality series details some of the "real" drama in the tech world, via up-and-coming start-ups in Silicon Valley. Created by Randi Zuckerberg (yes, sister of Facebook bazillionaire Mark Zuckerberg), the show is about "capturing the interpersonal dynamics that go on in companies," but the promo makes it seem like The Real World (the excessive partying part) meets Shark Tank (except they're attractive geeks with million-dollar ideas).
Simon Helberg and Ricky Gervais on Late Show with David Letterman, 11:35pm, CBS
Kristen Stewart and Dax Shepard The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, 11:35pm, NBC
Robert Pattinson and Chris Hardwick on Jimmy Kimmel Live, 12am, NBC
Jason Sudeikis, Keegan-Michael Key, and Jordan Peele on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, 12:37am, NBC
Tenacious D on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, 12:37am, CBS
