What to Watch Tonight: Castle's '70s Show, a Liz/Tom Showdown on The Blacklist, and Archer's Season 5 Finale

What to watch on Monday, April 21...

SEASON 6 PREMIERE, 6pm, Cartoon Network
Adventure Time
Something like an hour and a half after the end of Season 5, “Wake Up” and “Escape from the Citadel” return us to the Land of Ooo, where Finn and Jake must turn rogue and confront the Lich in their quest to locate Finn’s father.

8pm, The CW
Star-Crossed
“What Storm Is This That Blows So” digs into The WB’s archives and comes up with an “everyone is trapped inside the school” story. A hurricane is the thing doing the trapping, but the real devastation is happening indoors—as tends to be the case in these situations—with a drugged-up Roman lashing out at Emery, Grayson blackmailing Drake into dumping Taylor, that sort of thing.

8pm, CBS
2 Broke Girls
The end of their lease sends Max and Caroline in search of their apartment’s original tenant (Hal Linden) in “And the New Lease on Life.” To avoid getting booted out, they must persuade him to renew the rental contract (despite not actually, y’know, living there).

8pm, Fox
Bones
The scion of a well-heeled family turns up dead in a national park in “The Nail in the Coffin,” and all signs point to the Ghost Killer as the culprit. When the case catches the eye of the FBI’s deputy director, change may be in store for Booth’s career.

9pm, Fox
The Following
Joe has a plan that may cost many lives. Ryan and Mike want to stop Joe. Claire makes a decision with dire consequences. Mark and Luke have no clue what the heck to do next. If you told me that whoever wrote the logline for “Silence” didn’t actually know what happens in it, but just made an educated guess, I would 100 percent believe you.

9pm, PBS
Independent Lens
“Muscle Shoals” chronicles some of the legendary musicians who have passed through the Alabama town and its FAME Studios, founded in 1961. Interviews include Alicia Keys, Mick Jagger, and Bono.

9pm, The CW
The Tomorrow People
In “A Sort of Homecoming,” everybody is all in a tizzy at the idea that the Founder may learn of Roger’s possible return. I mean, I’m sure it’ll go over just fine as long as he brings decent gifts from the duty-free shop. Meanwhile, Stephen enlists John and Cara’s help to pulverize the infernal training machine.

9pm, Syfy
Warehouse 13
While in the nation’s capital to investigate a string of unusual drownings—unusual in that they’re happening nowhere near the water—Pete and Myka encounter a pair of Secret Service agents who get them pondering their relationship. Elsewhere in “Secret Services,” Artie fires up an artifact that lets Claudia examine his memories of an old case with family ties.

SEASON 5 FINALE, 10pm, FX
Archer
Lana goes into labor in “Archer Vice: Arrival/Departure,” but don’t worry: Archer has seen that Saved By the Bell where Zack delivers Mrs. Belding’s baby in the elevator, like, 30 times, so he’s perfectly qualified to assist. Elsewhere, Krieger tries to shut down his clone brothers’ Missile O’ Doom.

10pm, NBC
The Blacklist
The team tries to foil “The Pavlovich Brothers,” whose M.O. is to abduct high-profile individuals. Why, just last week they snatched a young princess away from her imposing grey castle, right under the nose of her big, snarling turtle bodyguard. Elsewhere, if the episode promos are to be believed, Tom and Liz have it out in the living room, and not just because someone forgot to do the dishes again.

10pm, ABC
Castle
The witness to a decades-old mob murder still believes it’s the heyday of the Me Decade in “That ‘70s Show.” If this doesn’t involve Castle cosplaying as Disco Stu at some point, I think everyone will be severely disappointed.

10pm, A&E
Bates Motel
Dylan faces an agonizing decision in “Meltdown,” while Norma continues to keep Norman in the dark about his blackouts and Romero probes Miss Watson’s slaying.

SEASON 4 PREMIERE, 10:30pm, Cartoon Network
The Boondocks
After a nearly four-year layoff, the adventures of Huey, Riley, and Grandad kick off their final season with “Pretty Boy Flizzy.” The titular troublemaking troubadour swaps relationship advice for legal representation after being booked on armed robbery charges.
