What to Watch Tonight: Glee, New Girl, and the Season Finale of Awkward.

What to watch on Tuesday, September 27...

Tonight's a great night to just kick off your jeggings or Oriental clogs or hemp turban or whatever funky thing you're rocking these days and just enjoy some wonderful TV. You deserve it!

8pm, FOX
It's gonna be a Wicked good time (Boston pun) when Idina Menzel returns to McKinley High for a duet or two. Plus Will whips the kids back into fighting shape with his very own "boot camp" and Brittany decides to help Kurt run for student-body president.

10pm, NBC
Amber struggles to enjoy her independence despite Sarah's guilt trippin', plus Kristina's all worried about Crosby and Adam's new business venture. It's like, "Chill out, Kristina!" Am I right you guys? Just kidding, Kristina's concerns are valid and worth listening to.

9pm, Fox
New Girl
Tonight the dudes help Jess get some of her stuff back from her ex-boyfriend's apartment, plus an African-American gentleman arrives to replace the African-American gentleman who had to be on Happy Endings instead.

Tonight, two episodes will cap off Awkward.'s surprisingly decent first season, and everything revolves around winter formal: Will Matty get over himself enough to ask Jenna? And will evil Sadie successfully ruin Jenna's chances of being crowned "Formal Princess"? These are the questions Awkward. intends to answer with or without pithy voiceover.

Catching Hell
This two-hour documentary explores the wrenching, awkward nightmare faced by Cubs fan Steve Bartman when he inexplicably interfered with a pop-foul catch, an action which caused the Cubs to lose the World Series. Also interviewed: Boston Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner who—as his recent appearance on Curb Your Enthusiasm proved—knows a thing or two about botched plays.

ORIGINAL SPECIAL, 8pm, Animal Planet
Rise of the Jellyfish
I've been saying for years that jellyfish aren't to be trusted, and it seems Animal Planet finally agrees with me! Here's a one-hour special exploring the threat that these dastardly sacks of goo pose to swimmers and divers near the Great Barrier Reef.
