What to Watch Tonight: NCIS, Switched at Birth, and the Return of Dance Moms

What to watch on Tuesday, January 10...

Assuming you haven't already pawned your television after a bad day at the dog track (we've all been there), why not kick back tonight and enjoy these fine selections?

8pm, ABC Family
Switched at Birth
Kathryn gets into the enterprising spirit when she considers writing a tell-all about her baby-swap experience. Meanwhile, Bay tries and fails to impress Melody with her attempts at sign language, and Toby and Wilke attempt to hawk phony IDs. Dang, compared to the shenanigans over on the other ABC Family shows, these kids seem straight-up angelic.

8pm, CBS
NCIS
When the team looks into the death of a navy lieutenant, the victim's detective husband keeps interrupting the investigation. On a more personal subject, Ziva finds herself contemplating the future when Ray Cruz returns looking to settle down. Will she waggle her bare ring finger at him, or will she sass him a ton? You never know with Ziva.

8:30pm, ABC
Work It!
Tonight the lovely ladymen of America's newest smash hit must put their money where their lipstick is and actually be good saleswomen. Tune in to see just how useful Angel's mechanic background proves to be. Or don't, even!

10pm, NBC
Parenthood
The Bravermans and their pals continue to face both hardship and easyship. For one thing, Adam earns some attention from a local newspaper, which makes Crosby feel left out. Plus Amber must adapt to her new job. Also Julia and Joel suddenly have to make a decision when they receive important papers. I don't know what to tell you guys, hang in there!

SEASON 2 PREMIERE, 9pm, Lifetime
Dance Moms
If you've watched any amount of Lifetime recently, chances are you've had an encounter with a terrifying, bellowing creature named Abby Lee Miller. She's the lead instructor at the Abby Lee Dance Company and Lifetime's newest breakout star. Tune in for tonight's Season 2 premiere in which she'll berate child dancers and the Pittsburgh mothers fool enough to step to her.

WORK IT!!! Yeah baby. What a great concept. That's why they get paid the big bucks. Woo-hoo. Comic G-E-N-I-U-S!! (ok seriously, does anyone actually think these guys can pass for women????? Anyone? How did this become a show? How?!?!?!?)

P.S. Sorry, I'm ultra bitter about Fringe and Community today.

Switched at Birth, Last Man Standing, and I'm even going to continue watching Jane By Design, at least until the rest of my Tuesday shows come back and my DVR can't handle all the pressure in one night. Then, I'll probably have to watch it online instead.

Nothing but the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson -- the only late night talk show I watch without a care for who the guests are... but uh, who the hell is Isaac MIzrahi?

NCIS.

Guys, for the love of God, DO NOT watch 'Work It' live.

Watch it online or something if you want to bitch about it later.

Don't give the execs any excuse to let this monstrosity go any further!

Listen to crazylegs99 people! 'Work It' is like an amorphous creature. Basically, it's The Blob of television shows. The more it feeds (for the purposes of this metaphor, it's food is television viewership), the stronger it gets. And before you know it, it will have completely engulfed some random Diner.

NCIS and Last Man Standing. Maybe Sophia Bush on Ferguson - I've not seen her for that long I'm having withdrawl symptoms
