What to watch on Tuesday, October 18...

Well, wishing that today would be Tuesday wasn't the best use of your final wish from that genie, but here we are anyway. Luckily there's some good stuff on!
SERIES PREMIERE, 8:30pm, ABC
Man Up!
Rounding out ABC's imagined reverse-sexism comedy block fronted by Tim Allen, Man Up! tells the tale of three aging dudes who decide to become real men for a change. Despite the title and premise, this is actually a fairly decent show more akin to Modern Family than Last Man Standing. Rave review!
10pm, NBC
Parenthood
What will make us cry this week? Will it be Kristina finding herself in an overwhelming situation? Will it be Mark's anxiety about Seth's role in Sarah's life? Or will it be tonight's Cee-Lo Green cameo? Nobody knows just yet.
9pm, CW
Ringer
Tonight's episode picks up after last week's shocking murder, when Bridget can't get Gemma on the phone—leading her to wonder whether something happened to her. Plus Juliet deals with bullying at school. (Oh, cut it out, Ringer. Get back to the murderin'!)
10pm, FX
Sons of Anarchy
It's a free country, so I guess people are allowed to make death threats against Tara whenever they feel like it. They're gonna have to deal with SAMCRO, though, and that's what'll happen in tonight's episode.
AWARDS SPECIAL, 9pm, Spike & VH1
Scream Awards 2011
Easily the most essential awards show this side of the TV Guide Awards, this Spike-produced, Universal Studios Backlot-set awards show will bestow spiky trophies to people like Kevin Bacon, Sean Bean, J.J. Abrams and all of today's hottest teen stars for their achievements in horror, sci-fi, and fantasy in this anno domini 2011.

What are you watching tonight?

there was no Flashpoint, and no Raising Hope this Tuesday. So there was nothing to watch for me, so I didn't
I don't think I'm going to like Man Up, but the giant black guy at least redeemed that episode. If he doesn't come back, though, I can't see it working for me.
"C-O-M-E, L-E-O-N-I-D-A-S, L-E-T U-S R-E-A-S-O-N T-O-G-E-T-H-E-R."
And the balloon blowing by like a tumbleweed got me, I admit it.
When did Tuesday become the worst night for tv?
Despite a bad title, bad premise and a bad promo I checked Man Up! and it was ... bad , really bad ! the gags were simply forced and unfunny. It's not extremely bad but still the glass is more empty than full.
"Man Up" was awesome! Can't wait for next week's episode. A show that should definitely be picked up for a full season! I just don't get why critics are blasting it!
Sons of Anarchy, Ringer
You forgot "Flashpoint" on ION. (At least, for us people in the USA.)
