What to Watch Tonight: Rookie Blue, Project Runway, and Life 2.0

What to watch on Thursday, August 25...

On average, how many objects do you throw at your television every day? Be honest. Dozens of things? Hundreds? Me, I've got my TV all wrapped up in saran wrap in case I need to throw a juicy item. But I don't know, you guys, maybe we shouldn't do this to our TVs anymore. It's mean!

10pm, ABC
Rookie Blue
Gail finds herself in the middle of some sexy trouble when Chris and Dov start brawlin' over her. Plus the team pursues a kidnapper and Andy attempts to assist a car accident victim (AKA unsexy trouble).

9pm, Lifetime
Project Runway
If there is one thing that all fashion designers need to be good at, it's wind sprints. Tune in tonight for a track-and-field themed challenge which results in a dramatic health scare! Quick question: When did this thing become a horror show?

12am, Cartoon Network
Childrens Hospital
In what's guaranteed to be a thoughtful exploration of modern spirituality, Glenn plans his somewhat belated bar mitzvah and Owen decides he wants his foreskin back. I realize you hate laughing and especially laughter, but you should watch this show anyway. It's tops!

9pm, USA
Burn Notice
Michael's crummy job gets intense when he infiltrates a group of hijackers who--get this--hijack an airport! What will Michael do?? Meanwhile Madeline's helping hostages and making sure they're wearing enough SPF. "I noticed your burn." -- Madeline

Life 2.0
Tonight Oprah's cable network airs this documentary exploring the weird, wonderful world of online role-playing game Second Life. What kind of avatar do you think Oprah plays as? A mousy secretary? A biker? Star Jones? I hope we find out!

SERIES PREMIERE, 8pm, Discovery
Rising: Rebuilding Ground Zero
In case you didn't know, there is some construction going on at Ground Zero. It's complicated and sad and probably requires tons of permits. But at least you and I can see what kind of progress has been made so far by watching Discovery's multi-part series on the subject. Keep it up, construction dudes!
