What to Watch Tonight: Suits, Wilfred, and Burn Notice

What to watch on Thursday, August 2...

Thursday's child "has far to go," but what about Thursday's television? Well, it has these things!

8pm, NBC
2012 Summer Olympics (Women's Gymnastics All-Around Final)
America's "Fab Five" won gold in the women's gymnastics team final earlier this week; tonight Gabby Douglas and Alexandra Raisman will compete in the all-round final in hopes of taking home medal number two. Also on in primetime: men's beach volleyball, women's rowing, and more swimming.

9pm, USA
Burn Notice
In the wake of last week's tragic events, Michael and Fiona reconnect while on the hunt for whoever sabotaged Michael's mission. Elsewhere, Sam agrees to help his girlfriend's son navigate a dangerous situation with a loan shark. Ugh, don't these episode synopses just seem so emotionless sometimes? How is Michael doing?

9pm & 10pm, TLC
Four Weddings
Tired of watching athletes compete against one another in hopes of winning Olympic gold? Consider switching things up by watching brides compete against one another in hopes of winning a free honeymoon! In tonight's pair of back-to-back episodes, two different quartets of ladies will attend each other's weddings to judge everything from photo backdrops made of paper flowers to vodka snow cones. (The vodka snow cones get our vote.)

10pm, USA
Suits
Ya'll saw this preview clip from tonight's episode, right? Things are about to get tense. Are you hoping that Donna will somehow return to Pearson Hardman? And if so, how?

10pm, FX
Wilfred
Spoiler alert: We screened this episode at Comic-Con, and it is... weird. And sticky—very, very sticky. Tune in!

10:30pm, MTV
Awkward.
The show is called Awkward. for a reason: In "What Comes First: Sex or Love?" Jenna wonders whether doing it with Jake will help clarify her feelings for him... and Matty offers to give Jake advice regarding Jenna's sex "dos and don'ts."

Finally, you've decided to choose the GOOD shows to preview for tonight (bar the obvious Four Weddings/Louie mix up).

I'll definately be watching Suits, Wilfred, Awkward, Burn Notice, Craig Ferguson, Jon Stewart, and errr, oh yeah LOUIE! And of course Rookie Blue, assuming it's on and you've just forgotten it.

I was pleasantly surprised by tonights preview selection as well. I don't want to say it's because C. Killian is on holiday, but, um, yeah ...

Burn Notice, reruns...

This Thursday's episode of Rookie Blue is a rerun (according to my satellite guide), so that's why it wasn't listed on the above list. I hope we get a new episode next week.

Major broadcast networks are running repeats during the Olympics so they don't get crushed by NBC. Cable networks don't worry about stuff like that. :)
