What to Watch Tonight: Take Me Out, 3, Saving Hope

What to watch on Thursday, July 26...

This was a purely subconscious move on my part, but tonight's What to Watch line-up totally has a theme: A heart-shaped theme! I guess it's just that kind of Thursday. So let's get down to business*, shall we?

*pun intended

SEASON 1 FINALE, 8pm, FOX
Take Me Out
This 8-episode season introduced us to a panel of women, each looking for love and presented by a handful of suitors attempting to impress... somebody, anybody. If two women are impressed by the same man, he gets to pick which girl he wants to date. If any women are left dateless by the end of an episode, they return the next week to try again. (Like Jeopardy, but for the losers). So tonight, as the chef, tattoo artist, and paramedic get on stage to impress these ladies, I'll be looking for the girls who've been there since the beginning and trying to decipher why that is.

9pm Lifetime
Project Runway
In "Candy Couture," the designers will compete in a challenge that—let me guess, involves candy?? The answer is yes. Will the designers then force-feed the models their outfits? The answer is also (I hope) yes.

9pm, NBC
Saving Hope
In "Heartsick," Alex and Dawn argue over who should be Charlie's legal decision-maker now that his vitals signs are weakening. But on the "other side," spirit-charlie has a run-in with the deceased prisoner from whom he received his donated heart, and Charlie wants nothing to do with it.

10pm, TNT
Rookie Blue
In the first of this 2-Part episode, "The Girlfriend Experience," a pattern emerges linking a series of missing person reports—and they all happen to involve women. Gail goes undercover to investigate, but when Chris and Dov happen upon a dead body, they snap into panic-mode, realizing how much danger Gail may be involving herself in.

SERIES PREMIERE, 10pm, CBS
3
Oh heyo, here's a new show: CBS's new spin on a dating show takes a more positive approach. Three women are introduced to 100 eligible men from all over the country, but instead of competing against each other for love, 29 year-old April (entrepreneur), 34 year-old Rachel (pharmaceutical sales rep), and 24 year-old Libby (model) will support each others' quests for love by bringing together their various background experience to strengthen their confidence in what, exactly, it is that each of them seek.
