What to watch on Monday, December 12...

Haha, bet you weren't expecting THIS mug staring at you from in front of a fireball. You're probably like, "What year is this??" Sorry. Mondays, am I right? But anyway: So much TV tonight! Some of it'll even be good!
SEASON PREMIERE, 8pm, NBC
Fear Factor
In a testament to the fact that sometimes our prayers go unanswered, Fear Factor returns tonight for an all-new round of disgusting, horrifying fun. Joe Rogan is back as host, and tonight's premiere involves airlifted contestants jumping onto the back of a moving truck; eating scorpions; and getting strapped to the front of a cement mixer as it races up a runway. Yay?
10pm, CBS
Hawaii Five-0
Tonight the hunks and babes of Hawaii Five-0 mobilize to investigate a body discovered by some local teens in an abandoned World War II bunker. Elsewhere, Chin Ho and Malia get hitched.
SEASON 1 FINALE, 9:30pm, HBO
Enlightened
A truly great first season comes to a close tonight as Amy successfully persuades Levi to seek help for his addictions. Meanwhile, at Abaddon, Amy decides to make an important presentation to Damon's department, an act which puts her job in jeopardy. Oh, Amy.
8pm, Fox
Terra Nova
The colony's starting to heat up as it teeters on the bring of war. Plus Taylor and Jim smoke out the Sixer mole and Lucas tries to assemble his mystery device before the arrival of the 11th Pilgrimage.
10pm, TNT
Rizzoli & Isles
Maura accompanies Jane to her high-school reunion, but OBVIOUSLY a dead body is discovered on the football field. Why wouldn't one be? Also, guest-star Lolita Davidovich arrives as Korsak's ex-wife, and she's got a business proposition for him!
SERIES PREMIERE, 8pm, OWN
Rollin' with Zach
Remember when Oprah had that reality show where the winner would get his or her own talk show? Well, that's what's happening here! The highly charming, cerebral palsy-having Zach Anner stars in this travel show, which finds the titular wheelchair-bound hero accomplishing awesome things in different cities. Tonight his to-do list includes surfing and appearing as a contestant on The Price Is Right. (Hey, that's on my to-do list also!)

What are you watching tonight?

Terra Nova
Rizzoli & Isles
Hawaii Five-0 is the kind of show I let play in the background while I surf the web or play games that require my attention on my iPhone. It's not bad, but it's lacking in a number of areas. Aside from Scott Caan, the acting isn't too wonderful either. Well, okay... Terry O'Quinn is great as well, but he suffers from a bad script. The scenery is, needless to say, stunning, and they do a very good job of taking advantage of that with the CSI: Miami-like opening shots on it.
As for Terra Nova, is FOX REALLY thinking about continuing it? I thought it was decided there would be no second season. Are we only at the mid-point of the first?
loll I remember from fear-factor the bull-nuts eating contests and the tarentulas and rats filled coffins...
Nothing.
Terra Nova and Hawaii 5-0. Bag of Bones looks interesting too.
2 Broke Girls and Fear Factor.
Terra Nova, Mike & Molly, Hawaii Five-0, Rizzoli & Isles, reruns...
Terra Nova and then I'll check in on the return of Fear Factor. And that's pretty much it.
Hawaii Five-0 and Rizzoli & Isles
Adventure Time, I want a dog for Christmas Charlie Brown, and maybe Fear Factor
Two Broke Girls & Terra Nova.
CBS sitcoms, TNT dramas, and 10pm is DVR-time apparently, as Castle is a rerun.
I am almost tempted to check in on Fear Factor, but the last few seasons were so completely out of gas that I cannot imagine this new iteration being anything but over-the-top hook material followed by the "more of the same" problems.
2 Broke Girls, Hawaii 5-0, The Closer, Rizzoli & Isles, and Bag of Bones.
2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly
TN and Rizzoli and Isles. Recording Scarlett Johansson on Letterman and Charlize Theron and Foster the People on Leno.
2 broke girls and hawaii five 0, and the repeat of HIMYM.
Hawaii Five-0, The Closer, and Rizzoli and Isles
Nothing :(
No Castle or HIMYM?
I guess just Hawaii Five-0. The LLS w/ C.F. if it's new.
Maayyybe Fear Factor, if I'm bored. It's semi-fun.
2 Broke Girls
Terra Nova, Hawaii Five-0 and Rizzoli & Isles
How come that you keep reffering to Terra Nova as the biggest disappointment yet you still regularly list it in a good spot in "What to whatch"? ;-) Just wondering. It did improve a lot those last few episodes though.
Price (Peterson) is the one writing the What-to-Watch-Tonight entries and the person who keeps complaining about Terra Nova is Tim (Surette). ;)
I'd say mainly because it's a good series but not a great series. It promised so much and didn't deliver. But there's still enough there to make it watchable.
Definitely Rozzoli and Isles & The Closer. Monday night TNT night
Did you mean "on the brink of war"?
nope; they are definitely bringing the war. bring it on! xD (j/k)
There is nothing interesting for me tonight. Maybe I'll watch Two and a Half Men...
No! Don't give in. That's what the abhorrent entity known as Two and a Half Men wants. It feeds on your desperation and apathy, until you are a monotonous drone, synchronously laughing along with the "studio audience". The horror.
just Rizzoli & Isles
The Closer, Rizzoli & Isles
2 Broke Girls, Terra Nova (recording), Two and Half Men, Mike and Molly, Rizzoli and Isles (recording) The Closer (recording) and Hawaii Five-O.
Enlightened, Terra Nova, 2 Broke Girls, Rizzoli & Isles.
Hawaii 5-0, Rizzoli & Isles, 2 Broke Girls. I really hate this time of year for TV, I just want to watch my favorite shows over the holidays but they all get dropped until the new year - it doesn't make sense to me?
The soulless network executives (lookin' at you NBC) coldly calculate people are too busy with festive activities, and (*swallows distaste*) mirthful merriment to watch TV. All I want for Christmas is Community to be back in January, and Fringe to be renewed for a 5th season. Is that too much to ask?
Aww, what a selfless request. Melts my heart. But it is better than "peace on earth" or "food for the starving". Unfortunately the execs of NBC and Fox are more on the side of the Grinch than Santa, so we'll have to see. Maybe you'll have to send your letter to Santa to Rockefeller Center instead of wherever you Canucks think he actually lives.
2 broke girls
terra nova
the closer
hawaii five-0
rizzoli & isles
Terra Nova, Two and a Half Men, Mike & Molly, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, Hawaii Five-O, Ridiculousness, and Conan.
Terra Nova, How I Met Your Mother. Gonna study hard now...
MAD, Terra Nova and Mike & Molly.
Terra Nova, 2 Broke Girls, The Mortified Sessions, Mike & Molly, Enlightened (personally, I feel this show has been incredibly boring for the most part), Rizzoli & Isles, Scarlett Johansson on Letterman, and Anna Faris on Jimmy Kimmel Live
