In the worst, most embarrassing setup possible, Rachel Bilson plays a cardiothoracic surgeon (LOL) who travels to Alabama for almost no reason (to become more friendly in order to receive a medical fellowship?) and finds herself in charge of the local clinic there. So many colorful Southern rubes! Alligators! Rachel Bilson as a cardiothoracic surgeon! Must-watch television, basically.
SEASON 2 PREMIERE, 9:30pm, CBS
Mike & Molly
Newly Emmy-minted actress Melissa McCarthy returns to our living rooms tonight when you pop in your new DVD of Bridesmaids. Haha just kidding, she's also on Mike & Molly, still playing a chunky gal with an infectious spirit. Tonight's sitcom contrivance: Molly wants to plan the wedding, but Mike just wants to go fishing with the guys.
SEASON 7 FINALE, 10pm, Showtime
Weeds
After an interesting, hit-or-miss season which saw Nancy Botwin earning an early release from her halfway house and immediately setting up a drug ring in Manhattan, Weeds closes up shop tonight (and forever? No word yet on renewal) with a major confrontation between Nancy and her ambitious dreamboat son, Silas.

The Bling Ring
Did you ever read that amazing Vanity Fair article about The Bling Ring, the gang of Hollywood teens (including the girl from E!'s Pretty Wild) who burgled celebrities like Orlando Bloom and Lindsay Lohan? It was an awesome article! Anyway, tonight that story gets the Lifetime Original Movie treatment, FINALLY.

Only "Two and a Half Men" - not because I ever liked the show, nor do I want to see Ashton Kutcher's second episode. I'm in it for "The Big Bang Theory" crossover!!! I wanted to like "2 Broke Girls", but I found the premiere episode horrendous. I won't be tuning in for any more "Girls."

I'm from and still live in Alabama, so I'm hoping Hart Of Dixie won't be one of those shows that puts the state in a bad light when the main character randomly gets stuck there.. but I'll watch anything with Rachel Bilson in it, atleast until they get offensive by generalizing about all people in the south. No more Hawaii Five-0 for me, I officially gave up after last week's boring premiere, season 1 was good but it's falling into a typical show now.moreless

So much to watch tonight! Hart of Dixie looks really cute even though Rachel Bilson is like the opposite of a doctor. The Lying game and Terra Nova. And The Bling Ring. How will I decide?!
11 episodes is a bit of a strange number of episodes for Alphas. Usually short seasons are 13 or all the way down to 10.
Well, Alphas kind of is a bit of a strange show...sort of unconventional. lol.

Castle, Alphas, and Hart of Dixie. I could see her as a doctor, though. By the way, she goes to Alabama because her dad dies and leaves her his half of the practice. I'd say that is a very big reason to go. After I learned this on the CW Fall Preview show, the show really looked interesting.

Terra Nova will definitely be the one to watch tonight, although it's hard to say if it will have enough story to keep a series going. And it's still possible to make a boring show with dinosaurs (Dinotopia).
