What to Watch Tonight: The Bachelor finale, Alcatraz, and Being Human

What to watch on Monday, March 12...

What's on your agenda for today? Work? Laundry? Spelunking for doubloons? Hosing down the kids? There's so much to do! Might I suggest adding these particular items to the agenda?

SEASON 16 FINALE, 8pm, ABC
The Bachelor
The greatest love story of our times comes to fruition tonight as Ben finally decides which pretty lady he'll be proposing to: Courtney or Lindzi. But first, both ladies must meet Ben's mother and sister, and let's just say they do NOT approve of the rumors they've heard about Courtney. I know, right? (I don't know.) Oh, and stay tuned after the 2-hour finale for the 1-hour "After the Final Rose" special. Three full hours of mind-numbing drama on a Monday night? Sure, why not.

8pm, Fox
Alcatraz
In "Clarence Montgomery," a supposedly innocent man who'd been serving time in Alcatraz resurfaces in the present day to—get this—commit crimes! Thanks A LOT, Obama.

10pm, NBC
Smash
Tonight Ivy will suddenly have to deal with vocal problems, much to her horror. Meanwhile Karen books a sweet gig at a Bar Mitzvah, and Eileen and Ellis spend some quality time in a dive bar. Don't wake the drunks!

9pm, Syfy
Being Human
In "When I Think About You I Shred Myself," Josh deals with a surprise visit from an old friend and Sally continues to deal with Reaper-related issues. Meanwhile Aidan decides to try and save Henry's life. With bromantic results?

10pm, Syfy
Lost Girl
Tonight Bo and Dyson find themselves on the "doing good" side of the moral spectrum when they attempt to help out a Light Fae reconcile with his brother, despite the fact he'd been marked for death. Fortunately "doing good" doesn't preclude delivering a metric ton of sardonic one-liners.

Dear TV.com, I don't know how much longer we can be friends. We have so little in common. Nothing on this list interests me even a little. Until Community returns, IndianaMom

The Clarence Montgomery episode of Alcatraz already aired, so I assume we are getting a repeat tonight..?!

I prefer the original British "Being Human", but I am liking that the American remake has gone in a different direction, to bad they couldn't have done so with "Skins", although the various American prude groups got the show cancelled, I am happy the original "Skins" is still airing!

No, 'Clarence Montgomery' never aired a few weeks ago due to Nascar running way late. But instead of airing this episode a week after, they aired two different episodes. So this episode was never aired until tonight.

Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. And best of DVR follies, I guess. Why have the last 2 Mondays been devoid of new content when other days are still going? I watch 3 networks on Mondays and they all have abandoned me to the TV wolves.

The episode of Pretty Little Liars tonight is not the season finale. It's the episode before the season finale.

Alcatraz sounds like a repeat. I may have seen the Canadian airing of it, although it appears FOX pre-empted it. Only a couple weeks left of the series. With it's mediocre ratings FOX would be foolish to renew it for next year.

Yes, this was the episode that was pre-empted in the US by the unending auto race. Many of us have already seen it but those who miss it won't have missed much, as could be said for pretty much every episode of this malformed and disappointing series.
