What to Watch Tonight: The Closer, Hart of Dixie, and the Season Finale of Bored to Death

What to watch on Monday, November 28...

Ugh, is it Christmas yet? Haha just kidding, it's not even guaranteed that Christmas is happening this year; depends on how the War on Christmas ends up. But anyway, welcome to that dead stretch between Thanksgiving and Christmas! It's mostly errands and frozen toes from here on out, but there are at least a few decent shows on still!

8pm, ABC
How the Grinch Stole Christmas
This is the classic 1966 animated special, not the fever-dream nightmare Jim Carrey made a few years back. So gather up your children and allow them to experience the spooky Boris Karloff narration and heart-melting lessons of one of Dr. Seuss's greatest creations.

8pm, Fox
Terra Nova
Tonight Taylor has it out with Mira, plus Jim attempts to suss out who the Sixer mole is. But best of all, Zoe attempts to deal with the rapidly growing anklyosaur that's wrecking her home. We've all been there, Zoe.

SEASON 3 FINALE, 9pm, HBO
Bored to Death
In tonight's Season 3 finale, George attends Emily and Bernard's wedding and Ray finds solace in the company of his son. Elsewhere Jonathan gets kidnapped and an army of Super Ray fans mobilizes to find him.

9pm, CW
Hart of Dixie
Everyone dresses like pirates.

MIDSEASON PREMIERE, 9pm, TNT
The Closer
Once again Brenda runs afoul of the FBI, this time because her investigation into the shooting of a high school principal overlaps with an existing FBI case. Later, Brenda must deal with a sudden rash of people accidentally leaving their car doors open in parking lots.

SERIES PREMIERE, 10pm, E!
Scouted
In this intriguing new reality series, model scouts pluck beautiful people from crowds and force them to prove their model-meddle in NYC fashion scenarios. Don't knock it, this process worked for me!

Rachel Bilson looks so sexy as a pirate, will need to tune in.

Out of all the reasons to watch this show, this must be the best one (as well as probably the only one, but let's not be picky). "Will need to tune in" is by the way the perfect description of the mental process that goes on in my head before starting to watch the show. Like a mind-controlled drone I go: "must...watch...Rachel...Bilson...in...a...sexy...pirate...costume - or...short...shorts...either...way...is...good".
