What to Watch Tonight: The Premieres of Parenthood, 90210, and Ringer

What to watch on Tuesday, September 13...

Break a bottle of champagne over your television, because the fall season has officially begun! Check out all of these brand-new things!

SEASON 3 PREMIERE, 10pm, NBC
Parenthood
Don't take this the wrong way, but I have a new theory about Parenthood: It's basically Degrassi for adults. I mean that as a compliment! Anyway, in tonight's season premiere it's business as usual for the Bravermans and pals: Sarah's dealing with turning 40, Amber's taking baby steps, Adam considers going into business with Crosby, and Alex spills a secret to Julia.

SERIES PREMIERE, 9pm, CW
Ringer
Out of all the new fall shows, this is definitely the one that stars Sarah Michelle Gellar in a dual role as estranged twin sisters. Basically she plays a recovering addict and ex-stripper named Bridget who goes on the run from the mob only to find herself impersonating her richer, meaner sister Siobhan. (Hey CW, I don't remember selling my life rights!)

10pm, FX
Sons of Anarchy
Tonight Clay cuts a deal with the Mayans that doesn't sit well with the rest of the gang, plus Gemma stresses out that Jax might find out more about her past. Meanwhile MY motorcycle gang kicks me out for eating all the Fudgesicles.

SEASON 4 PREMIERE, 8pm, CW
90210
Apparently the teens of West Beverly High found time to attend class and get decent grades, because now they're in college! In tonight's premiere, we'll see how Naomi handles being a PREGNANT freshman, plus Navid and Silver have relationship issues after moving in together. Also Liam and Annie continue their bizarre, slow-mo romance and Adrianna struggles to reverse her monstrous reputation.

ORIGINAL SPECIAL, 9pm, ABC
Jacqueline Kennedy: In Her Own Words
Tonight ABC devotes two hours to recently unearthed recordings of Jacqueline Kennedy discussing her life as a tragic first lady and fashion icon. Tune in to hear her recounting of JFK's assassination, plus her slightly indelicate opinions of Martin Luther King, Jr. (Ugh, the '60s!)
