Don't take this the wrong way, but I have a new theory about Parenthood: It's basically Degrassi for adults. I mean that as a compliment! Anyway, in tonight's season premiere it's business as usual for the Bravermans and pals: Sarah's dealing with turning 40, Amber's taking baby steps, Adam considers going into business with Crosby, and Alex spills a secret to Julia.

Out of all the new fall shows, this is definitely the one that stars Sarah Michelle Gellar in a dual role as estranged twin sisters. Basically she plays a recovering addict and ex-stripper named Bridget who goes on the run from the mob only to find herself impersonating her richer, meaner sister Siobhan. (Hey CW, I don't remember selling my life rights!)

Sons of Anarchy
Tonight Clay cuts a deal with the Mayans that doesn't sit well with the rest of the gang, plus Gemma stresses out that Jax might find out more about her past. Meanwhile MY motorcycle gang kicks me out for eating all the Fudgesicles.

Apparently the teens of West Beverly High found time to attend class and get decent grades, because now they're in college! In tonight's premiere, we'll see how Naomi handles being a PREGNANT freshman, plus Navid and Silver have relationship issues after moving in together. Also Liam and Annie continue their bizarre, slow-mo romance and Adrianna struggles to reverse her monstrous reputation.

What are you watching tonight?
smg is a good actor. i think her role on buffy showed her to be just that. it can't be easy to doa show like buffy thay walks the fine fine lines of comedy action drama horror and at times near slap-stick giddy nonsence and still pull of the drama,horror and believablity of the kind of character she played. i'm not big on soap-opera-like drama and "i'm mean sexy and i sleep with who i want tv...but this role is asking the actor(smg) to be a drug addict who is good but sick,desperatly wanting to be well;having to fool those around her that she still is a selfish,mean woman who would never live her life according to the highly responsible selfless spiritual way AA asks of people who want to stay well. a paradox and dichotomy that i think she can pull off. i hope the script sticks to the adult themes instead of spiraling into sleezy soap opera scripts to satisfy the large crowd of tv watchers that enjoy that. crossing my fingers...moreless

i agree completely about what you said about parenthood, its basically degrassi for adults: its normal people with these crazy storylines but its addicting enough to keep you coming back each week (or every day in degrassi;s case)

Will be recording 90210 only to see if there is a change in quality now that there are new showrunners. I will not be watching it next Monday just because NCIS and Glee are back next week. Ringer already have season pass. Parenthood will be watching only because there is nothing new to watch at this hour. Liked the show in the first season but second season was awful.
