What to Watch Tonight: The Season Finales of 2 Broke Girls and Castle

What to watch on Monday, May 7...

Today begins a big week for season finales, so maybe take a moment and truly appreciate getting new episodes of your favorite shows before the networks' dreaded summer programming begins. Not trying to tell you how to live, just sayin'.

SEASON 1 FINALE, 8pm, CBS
2 Broke Girls
It's a double episode season finale! In "And Martha Stewart Have a Ball (Part One and Two)", our leading ladies conspire to crash a fashion gala in order to get guest of honor Martha Stewart to taste and/or endorse their cupcakes. Will it all go smoothly or will somebody get shanked with a toothbrush shiv? Nobody knows just yet.

8pm, Fox
Bones
When one of Brennan's books gets the Hollywood treatment, she and her babydaddy travel to the film shoot where they discover that a cadaver prop is actually a real human corpse! Ho, how charming. Meanwhile Booth gets a job offer to work for the studio, which is the sort of thing that happens when you look like David Boreanaz.

8pm, CW
Gossip Girl
In "The Fugitives," Blair asks Serena to impersonate her at an important meeting, plus Chuck enlists Ivy and Lola to help him exact some sweet revenge. Plus Nate, just doing whatever. Pointing his face at things mostly.

SEASON 4 FINALE, 10pm, ABC
Castle
In tonight's Season 4 finale, Castle grows super concerned about Beckett's mental state after a case involving a military' veteran's homicide prompts her to go after the man who shot her. Have a nice summer? Take a beach vacation?

9pm, Fox
House
Tonight a famous pathologist with a mysterious illness refuses treatment from anybody but House, but when House goes missing the team must fake it and pretend he's working through them. Buncha rascals!

Castle, House, Top Gear UK, Richard Hammond's Crash Course, Eureka, CBS sitcoms, and the not-mentioned-despite-awesome Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson whose guests tonight are Poppy Montgomery (ok, I don't care that much) and STEVE GUTTENBERG! The man is a walking punchline and yet an '80s icon and a regularly-working actor all in one.

I was kinda hoping Martha Stewart would be playing a character rather than herself, the way she is on Wednesday on SVU. (What is it with guest stars doing 2 stints in a single week? Last week it was Bryan Cranston voicing characters on Cleveland Show and Simpsons back to back, now it's Martha Monday and Wednesday.)

DWTS & Hawaii Five-0. I refuse to endorse anything with Mothra Stewart (that's not a typo). I'm also biding my time 'til Rizzoli & Isles comes back.

I'd usually say Bones but it's been crap this season. Where has the bite gone? It used to be a nice mix of lighthearted comedy and dark, sinister murder cases. Now it's just a baby/parenting related cliche per week.
