What to watch on Wednesday, December 21...

Strap on those galoshes, because your TV's about to make it rain! (Metaphorically, of course. Actual rain in the living room would be the very worst!)
10pm, FX
American Horror Story
Following up last week's terrific childbirth-themed episode, tonight's season finale, "Afterbirth," deals with Constance's scheme to raise Vivien's baby as her own. Also hopefully there will be some hint at just what or who this show will be even about next season. Because dang!
SEASON FINALE (PT. 1), 8pm, Fox
The X Factor
The X Factor has been more of a solid double than a home run, but that's not to say it didn't bring us some genuinely talented kids. In tonight's performance finale, tune in to see the last efforts of Chris Rene, Melanie Amaro, and Josh Krajcik to secure that $5 million prize.
SEASON 2 FINALE, 9pm, Bravo
Work of Art: The Next Great Artist
Tonight the final three artists present their solo exhibitions in the hopes of winning a $100,000 jackpot. Will it be gallery curator Yung, sketch artist Sara, or frequent crier Kimia? The answer is, as always, we the viewers because this show is great.
HOLIDAY SPECIAL, 8pm, CBS
A Home for the Holidays with Martina McBride
In tonight's 13th annual fundraiser event to raise awareness of adoption, Martina McBride hosts and performs alongside her musical friends Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige, Gavin DeGraw, and Christina Perri. With a special guest appearance by Denise Richards--What? Is that strange or something? You seem skeptical. I'm telling you, Denise Richards will be appearing and it will be special.
ORIGINAL SPECIAL, 9pm, TLC
This is Justin Bieber
Oh, phew! All day I've been like, "Who or what is Justin Bieber?" Bless you, TLC.

What are you watching tonight?

American Horror Story
lakers and clippers!! preseason baby!
reruns of NCIS, The Mentalist, and Ghost Hunters, maybe Hot in Cleveland, maybe The Exes, and maybe State of Play...
AHS ftw.
American Horror Story
American Horror Story
American Horror Story and Conan. So, AHS went from being a two-hour finale to an hour and a half to just an hour and ten minutes? Lame.
Horror Story
American Horror Story
Just American Horror Story for me tonight
I don't understand the rain comment. Unless you mean a sh** storm. Excepting American Horror Story of course, but the rest of that looks like hours of unrelentingly boring viewing.
Nothing for me tonight.
Hot in Cleveland, American Horror Story and The Soup. And maybe whatever they're showing on the plane when I fly out for the holidays.
Work of Art
Melanie and Josh's performances on The X Factor (I don't like Chris), I Hate My Teenage Daughter, The Soup, American Horror Story, Hot In Cleveland, The Exes, Felicity Jones on Craig Ferguson
Nothing it is, then. I'll watch Craig Ferguson, but man does his show suffer when they use material from the "Khloe Banderas" run like they did on Monday.
So what you're saying is--nothing is on.
American Horror Story, Jason Lee on LLS/CF and Louis CK on Fallon. TV options are getting pretty weak.
American Horror Story. The land of TV is getting depresingly desolate now. Time to start watching Justified me thinks!
Good idea! You won't be disappointed.
Definitely. And you won't have to wait long for the next season unlike the rest of us unhappy souls who had to wait forever. You should time it out just right so that you can watch the new season the day after you finish the old one.
I like that idea. Do we know when season 3 starts? I'm guessing mid-Jan?
The Middle - repeat
Modern Family - repeat
Hot in Cleveland
Various Christmas specials
American Horror Story!
Garcon, I'll have the same as the lady over there, please.
I Hate My Teenage Daughter, Hot in Cleveland, The Exes
Again, only the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Maybe The Soup.
I might actually be bored enough to watch PREseason basketball.
X Factor Finale Performances tonight. I hope Melanie Amaro blows everyone away!
