What to watch on Thursday, April 19...

I won't sugarcoat it, you guys. Tonight's TV selection is TERRIFIC. Especially if you are me and like the shows I like. Granted, you probably aren't me (I'm pretty sure), but still. Good things:

8pm, CW
The Vampire Diaries
It's return of the long-lost hunks night on TVD when both Jeremy and Tyler will return to the story. First Tyler is NOT happy about Caroline and Klaus' whatever-kind-of-relationship-theirs-is, then Elena and Damon pay Jeremy a visit in Denver to make sure he's not chillin' with too many second-tier Originals. Welcome back, fellas!

9pm, CW
The Secret Circle
Another momentous occasion! Tonight we'll finally learn who the other Blackwell child is! But the bad news is this episode is called "Crystal" because those dang things are back in play. Whatever, I'm just gonna focus on the Blackwell child reveal because YAY!

9:30pm, NBC
Parks and Recreation
A show I've already gushed about a ton this week will also be returning. What a night! In "Live Ammo," Leslie will make a tough decision about her own campaign in order to prevent some budget cuts to the Parks Dept. (It'll probably be funnier than that sounds.) Meanwhile, Ron Swanson agrees to accompany Chris to a meditation center. (It'll probably be as funny as that sounds.)

8pm, NBC
Things might get slightly serious between Annie and Abed tonight in "Virtual Systems Analysis" when an ordinary outing to the Dreamatorium for a screening of "Inspector Spacetime" will turn into a discussion about the rest of the group and provide insight into Abed's personality. That's all the listings gave me to go on, you guys.

Comedian Kathy Griffin gets her own talk show tonight in which she'll actually get to interview the celebrities she gossips about for a living. In addition to pre-taped segments and pop-culture gossip interludes, this whole ordeal puts Griffin one step closer to finally replacing Oprah in America's hearts and minds.
