What to watch on Thursday, October 20...
Thursday is the week's official pre-partying day, observed in honor of the day's namesake, Thor the Norse God of Thunder, who was known for shotgunning several six packs before every epic battle. (Is this true? I had heard this.) Anyway, I don't know, tomorrow's Friday so that's pretty exciting. Also so much good TV:

Tonight Elena, Caroline, Bonnie and Matt, the last four remaining living seniors at Mystic Falls High School, start their first day of senior year. Also Damon has a hard time with his lame new roommate, Jerky Stefan, plus Tyler gets in touch with his inner douche now that he's a werewolf AND a vampire. Ugh, typical hybrid junk.

Recently departed Nick's ne'er-do-well, ne'er-do-unattractive brother (Chris Zylka) arrives in town and it throws the female witches into a tizzy. This is just a textbook exacmple of a male witch upgrade, basically.
