Meanwhile Elijah has had it UP TO HERE with Elena, and ends up presenting an ultimatum to Damon and Stefan that threatens Elena's life. Fair enough, honestly.

Tonight sees the long-awaited arrival of Cassie's supposedly evil father John Blackwell, who comes in search of a now-pulverized medallion. Whoops!
