What to Watch Tonight: The Voice, Hawaii Five-0, and the Season Premiere of Scare Tactics (UPDATED)

What to watch on Monday, October 29...

Guess what today is? No, not Flag Day or your little brother's cub scout graduation (well, maybe it is the latter, what do I know, it's not my job to remind you). But it IS Winona Ryder's 42nd birthday, in case you wanted to send her some birthday wishes via Twitter or something. Anyhow, back to what's REALLY important, like your TV lineup for tonight!

UPDATE (2pm Pacific): Networks are starting to postpone tonight's original programming due to Hurricane Sandy. There's no longer any guarantee that tonight's TV will air as originally scheduled. So far it's mostly CBS and The CW who are moving stuff around, but we're expecting more networks to follow suit. Also, many of the late-night programs have decided not to film new episodes today (including The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and Jimmy Kimmel Live).

MARATHON & SEASON 5 PREMIERE, 7:30pm, Syfy
Scare Tactics
Those looking for something scary to watch tonight might want to check out this special marathon of all-new episodes of Scare Tactics, hosted by Tracy Morgan. If you don't know the show, it's like Punk'd but with a sci-fi twist. In tonight's season opener, Brooke Hogan pretends to be a zombie, and there will also be sexy witches who try to convince a handyman to participate in a some kind of ritual. You can see the full lineup here, with all the pranks beginning at 7:30pm!

8pm, CBS
How I Met Your Mother
In "The Autumn Of Breakups," Barney—who's going breakup crazy—introduces his new wingman to his friends, but they end up becoming concerned because said wingman happens to be a four-legged pooch. Meanwhile, Ted and Victoria—who are also going through difficult times in their relationship—consider the next step. Will they be next couple to call it quits? It's definitely not Marshall and Lily...

8pm, NBC
The Voice
Battle Rounds are over! And, you know what that means, right? The Knockout Rounds begin! It's the next phase of the competition where the coaches pit two of their own team members against each other. Also, NBC will celebrate the new rounds with an extra hour of The Voice this week, with the normal two hours tonight and an additional hour tomorrow. Just what we all need, NBC.

SEASON 9 PREMIERE, 9pm, Discovery
American Chopper
In tonight's season premiere, we see Paul Teutul Sr. and his son Paul Teutul Jr. slowly mending their fractured relationship. In order to move things forward, Paul Teutul Sr. suggests building a new bike together for charity, but Junior is hesitant. C'mon Jr! Gotta try here...

10pm, CBS
Hawaii Five-0
It's Halloween in Hawaii and disturbing things start happening in tonight's episode, "Mohai," in which the team investigates a grisly murder involving a victim with his organs removed and evidence suggests that the killer will strike again! But it's not all killings and organ-less victims, there are some costumes, too! And kids, happily trick-or-treating. So, you know, something for everyone.

10pm, NBC
Revolution
In "Sex and Drugs," Nora is in need of medical attention after being stabbed and Charlie's only hope in saving her is to pursue an indecent proposal with a gang leader who has a stash of penicillin. Will she actually go through it? Meanwhile, Neville hands Danny over to Monroe.

LATE-NITE HIGHLIGHTS:
Denzel Washington on Late Show with David Letterman, 11:35pm, CBS
Simon Cowell and Britney Spears on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, 11:35pm, NBC
Chris Rock and Kelly Ripa on Jimmy Kimmel Live, 12am, NBC
John Goodman on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, 12:37am, NBC
Tom Hanks on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, 12:37am, CBS
