What to watch on Tuesday, July 3...
There's no doubt this week is a little off thanks to the holiday that falls smack-dab in the middle of it all, but never fear, there are still some things to watch on television tonight. Kind of. But hey, keep those heads up because tomorrow you're about to get inundated with marathons upon marathons of choice television to tune into. So, there's that. Now here's your TV line-up for tonight:
SEASON 1 FINALE, 8pm, The CW
In tonight's season finale, "Ghosts and Gossip," hotel owner Nathan decides to throw a last-minute Cinco de Mayo party, which infuriates Morgan to no end (but let's be honest, when isn't she infuriated?). Also, paranormal investigators spend a night at the hotel and think it may be haunted. As the team investigates, Kris sets his sights on Stephanie. Again, no big surprise there.
ORIGINAL SPECIAL, 9pm, Bravo
The Real Housewives Top 20 Reunion Moments
Tonight's Housewives special is called "The Social Edition," and will undoubtedly feature highlights from all your favorite (or most hated, depending on who you are) Housewives cities—more specifically, the ladies' social faux pas and over-the-top interactions. If you really feel like re-living the already brain-numbing episodes that have aired on TV, this one's for you!
It's a very special July 4th themed episode for Chopped tonight: The contestants will compete to make an "All American" three-course meal, which means they must incorporate apple pie into their appetizers and bourbon into their desserts. These Frankenmeals better satisfy, or patriotism as we know it will crumble harder than my grandma's butter-less cookies.
Franklin & Bash
In "L'affaire Du Coeur," which is French for "The Matter of the Heart," tension starts to build between Janie and Peter. Could it be a matter of the heart, perhaps? Are the writers really trying to keep secrets in foreign languages? Anyway, Karp decides to serve as defender to an old college friend because he's never heard of the phrase, "friends and business don't mix," and Jared and Peter are tasked with the feat of defending a recently arrested high-profile judge. The pressure is on.
10:30pm, Comedy Central
When Der's dad comes to visit, it interrupts the guys' plan to start their very own, very bloody, beef jerky business. And Der's efforts to sell himself as the perfect son has the potential to tear the guys apart. Der, just admit you're kind of a joke. Dad'll understand. In fact, he probably already knows. So there ya go.
