Which Recent Cancellation Disappointed You Most? (Poll)

Now that the sting of sudden cancellation death has dulled and you've had some time to process and work through the five stages of TV grief (sadness, angry commenting, bargaining with other shows' lives, online petitioning, eventual "acceptance"), it's the perfect time to rip those wounds open again discuss which broadcast cancellation from last season hurt you the most. This is a safe place to commiserate with like-minded folks who share your pain. Think of it like an online support group without all the awkward face-to-face communication!

Some of you are bummed about ABC finding a way to kill Henry Morgan for good on Forever, while others are down about NBC vanquishing Constantine, but we're all here because the TV season has hurt us. So which cancellation disappointed you most?

What the heck is going on? All the good shows are being cancelled and most without notice. Really starting to piss me off. Hart of Dixie, Nashville, Hollywood Hillbillies, etc. take good shows off to put STUPID REALITY SHOWS ON. I live some reality shows but some are DUMB! GIVE ME BACK MY SHOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just started watching Allegiance and am disappointed to discover it is cancelled. Give these great shows more than one season. These networks disappoint.

Forever =( I lost my henry & abe .. Damn i'm still pissed about it being cancelled.... Also, Constantine it was starting to show promise near the end .. However, i'd trade every show on this list for another season of Forever ..

What with these excutives cancelling good shows that have potential? How do they decide?"Forever", "Resurrection", Allegiance really entertaining shows and intriguing, and now i learned that "Proof" has been given the axe just like they did "A Gifted Man"... It is just a shame we spend time to watch when those people up in the "axe chair" &producers; just do not give a crap to offer any closure to the viewers..Greedy corporations, it is always about money not quality!

They should have at least made one extra episode of Forever to complete the story.

It's a great shame that they cancelled CSI but kept the lousy Cyber on. I don't think Ted Danson could do anything to help that stinker. I am done with CBS. Not even 60 minutes or Big Bang Theory can get me back.

CSI was a good show, but when it's time to go ,you can't do anything about it. The rest of the series on this list deserved to be cancelled , a lot of worthless shows , the list should be much larger.

I no longer pay to watch a series unless I have read that the story has a beginning, middle and end. I've wasted too much money streaming shows only to be left short-changed.

Does any TV executive really expect me to pay to watch a series via iTunes (or suchlike) or a DVD boxset when I know it has no conclusion.

Who, in their right mind, would buy novels or CD's or films if we knew 50% of them were unfinished?

There ought to be legislation introduced prohibiting any production company from embarking on a TV series unless with each series there is a concluding episode made that can be aired if the series is not renewed.

What about Class-action suits? Is it legal to sell you half a car or half a cake on the understanding the producer may or may not make the other half. So, why let them sell you short on a TV series into which you may have invested tens of $'s or €'s or £'s?

The very best show to be cancelled this year (2015) was (American) Odyssey. Finally, a gripping, intelligent and brilliantly acted US show actually gets a series made and then it's cancelled before the storyline is concluded. I just hope the BBC or Amazon pick up where NBC stupidly left off. Perhaps the morally complex geopolitical story, lack of star-spangled-banner waving, arrogance and US jingoism was simply too much for the average American brain. Those who watched it must have experienced a weird disassociation from their concept of reality and felt their brains had been placed in some alien vacuum. All far too much to take in.

I was really looking forward to season 2 of Forever and now see it's cancelled - what are the execs thinking - loved this show!

I'm seriously getting to the point that if a TV company doesn't state outright that they will run to at least two series, I won't bother even checking it out.

Started watching Backstrom in the UK recently and thoroughly enjoyed it.

GONE AFTER ONE SEASON!!!

Just seen ads for Battle Creek that looked really good but notice above that it's been canned after one season.

Don't think I'll bother with it.

TV producers really need to start looking at the damage they're doing to themselves.

P.S. I ticked the "Forever" box above. Great series, great chemistry but useless TV company.

Backstrom was a refreshing take on the maverick cop plot. Sardonic wit is far too european for American audiences. If humour doesn't border on the clichéd cake in the face trick of cartoons and the old silents, they just don't get it. Our loss is down to the feeble American brain...It's made from trifle and cream cheese.

In terms of plot line, quality of cast, casting the characters, and acting, Forever was one of the best shows on television. What a travesty such a fine show was given so little support and put in such an awful time slot. It barely had a chance.

Sorry, but Constantine is rightfully dead.

Out of all the great british actors looking to score a lead role in a show, they picked the one who can't act. At all.

And the only show, that should NOT have been axed isn't even on this list. Lilyhammer...

Yeah its all such bs. I think they don't even care about running decent programming any more. Its all about the next new thing. They don't seem to keep shows on any more long enough to build a fan base. I hate starting new shows now as seems a 95% chance it will be canceled soon as I start to get into it. I mean there are 25 shows on this list of cancellations, that is ridiculous.

I repeat my comment, always. Save "Forever"!! It has good actors, good acting, good chemistry, the certain amount of drama, humour and good script to explore. And the fans have showed though petition it will have audience, which is what the channel want, isn't it?!
Please, PLEASE!! The word "acceptance" doesn't exist on my dictionary.

Forever is definitely the one I liked the most.
Witches of East End, which has been cancelled after 2 seasons leaving the fans on a huge cliffhanger could have been on the list.

Heh, Forever and Constantine have almost as many votes as every other show on this list COMBINED. Good thing television execs know what they're doing so well and can tell us what we should be watching and what we shouldn't.

Constantine, Backstrom, Battle Creek, Forever in that order but Constantine a lot more than the rest. It was just hitting its stride. I'm enjoying Dark Matter at the moment so I guess that will get cancelled. Meanwhile, crappy reality TV shows get season after season...

Very sad about Resurrection - it was finally hitting it's stride.....but then TV companies don't seem to have the patience to let shows develop these days. Yet garbage like Under the Dome keeps on going.....

Hannibal - I understand it didnt have great numbers and might require a little bit more gray matter from peoples brains the usual but this is/was such a quality tv show. Movie like acting, script and aesthetics. Amazon has save this one seriously. It would be like cancelling Breaking Bad on Season 2. Shame!

Resurrection - It wasnt the best series in the world but Season 2 ended with a good cliffhanger that could lead to an awesome Season 3. We will never know now.

I watched A to Z and red Band Society and they were quite amusing whenever I didnt have anything to watch but cant say their cancellations bothered me much.

Constatine even though I was sceptical in the start, but the character grew on me since they were turning him more into the comic book version than they did in the start(they were awfull in the start).
I really like the gritty Backstrom, not the typical US cop.
State of affairs had so much promise for a second season
