Will Arnett goes Semi-Pro

Will Arnett, who was nominated for an Emmy for his portrayal of Gob Bluth in the Fox sitcom Arrested Development, is joining the Will Ferrell basketball movie Semi-Pro. The movie follows the fictional semiprofessional Flint Michigan Tropics in their quest for hoop-dream fulfillment.

This will mark the second time Arnett and Ferrell play movie sports together. Arnett also will appear in the springtime hockey comedy Blades of Glory alongside Ferrell.

Arnett recently appeared in the big-screen comedy Let's Go to Jail, directed by Mr. Show cocreator Bob Odenkirk. Semi-Pro also stars Woody Harrelson and Andre Benjamin, aka Andre 3000 of Outkast.

Great actor! Loved him in every role I've ever seen him in. For some reason I think he'd be great on Broadway.

He is funny but I wish he would steer clear of the cheesy B comedy for the masses genre.

Will Arnett. Come On! What can be better than this guy and Ferrel? I was a little iffy about Blades of Glory, but now that and Semi-Pro are on my To See list when they come out.

Also, "Blades of Glory" is about male figure skaters, not hockey.
