The restaurant set in this episode was used a couple of different times. It was also the restaurant where Mr. James and Dave get drunk in the episode "Bitch Session." Washroom Attendant: Tough night, huh?
Dave: Oh yeah.
Washroom Attendant: Women troubles?
Dave: That obvious huh?
Washroom Attendant: Hey I've been there. It's tough.
Dave: Man, you're not kidding.
Washroom Attendant: Can I give you come advice?
Dave: Oh sure.
Washroom Attendant: How much do you love her?
Dave: Quite a bit actually.
Washroom Attendant: Tell her how you feel.
Dave: I think I have.
Washroom Attendant: Well then tell her what your needs are.
Dave: I believe I've done that.
Washroom Attendant: Then the only thing left to do is to lock her out of the house, throw all of her crap on the front lawn, and set her car on fire. (edit) Bill: Dave, this has gotten completely out of hand.
Dave: Tell me about it. [Lisa] talks to that Stuart guy like five times a day.
Bill: Screw your problem, I'm talking about me. (edit) Dave: All I'm saying is, I don't call any of my ex girlfriends three times a day.
Lisa: Maybe that's cause you're so busy talking to your mother.
Dave: Maybe that's because I need advice on how to handle a girlfriend who can't let go of her ex-boyfriend. (edit) Dave: What kind of man writes and records a song as a joke?
Matthew: Weird Al Yankovic. Right? (edit) A pornographic photo of Catherine is on the Internet as a prank.
Catherine: Joe, get this off there!. Get it off there okay!

When Dave says the line, "So if Stewart comes by looking to 'get some,' I'll direct him to your desk," the phrase "looking to get some" was obviously dubbed in post-production. I can't tell what the original line was, but it apparently didn't make it past the NBC censor. (edit) "Alan" the waiter is played by production manager Kent Zbornak in an uncredited role. (edit)

Alfred "Weird Al" Yankovic is an American comedian and musician best known for his parodies of contemporary hit songs, although he also writes original comic songs as well.
