When she was a teenager, Nicole had a crush on [now Broadway star] Hunter Foster who is 4 years older than she is. He was her first major crush and she let him know it! (edit) Nicole is very close friends with actor Eyal Podell of The Young & The Restless. (edit) Nicole beat out Broadway star Sutton Foster for the role of "Louisa" in a regional production of The Sound of Music when both women were preteens. She jokes that it will be "the last time I will beat Sutton Foster out for a musical theater role in my life!" (edit) Nicole's motto is "Feel the fear and do it anyway". (edit) In January 2007, Nicole and the cast of Guiding Light, traveled to Biloxi, MS to help rebuild homes of Hurricane Katrina victims. (edit)

Nicole: (about working on "Guiding Light") It's a pleasure being involved in the Josh and Reva story. That's how I felt in the beginning and now. Hello, it's Josh and Reva! I'm thrilled to be involved in their legacy. (edit) Nicole: (about her first day on "Guiding Light") I was completely oblivious to what was going on around me, just trying to focus on the material at hand. I had no idea of the context. I decided that I wanted to know his language, so I went to UCLA Extension (night school) for three years. (edit) Nicole: (On playing a mother on "Guiding Light") It's a little bit like when you are an aunt. It's great because you can babysit, you can play and then give them back to their parents! I get to play a mom, but I don't actually have to get that kid into his pajamas and brush his teeth, you know? I just get to horse around and have fun. Then, it's, 'Bye! Let someone else force you to do your homework!' (edit) Nicole: (On meeting Charlie Sheen while working on "Two and a Half Men") He was very professional and respectful. He seemed almost shy. I thought, 'Oh my gosh, there is such an image of him being a playboy... but he's so quiet - I wonder if he really is shy?' (edit)
